Peace of mind

From the beginning I felt heard and was comforted all along the way. We needed help for my grandmother but we lived across the country from her. What started out as a few days a week quickly turned into 24 hr care. The staff at carescope were extremely professional and upfront about the cost and what they offered. The aids became like family to us and the office staff were always there to help me through the process of it all. They were always available and very kind to me and my family. Thank you for being there when I couldn’t.

My review

One of the aides severely mistreated my mom, in front of me. She took bites of the food she was feeding mom She rifled through the hall closet (brought in 3 bags and a giant coat and was weirdly stuffing something into them, we never figured out what) . We fired the company that night and hired private care. It was the worst experience of our life for my dying mother. Never, ever again. Tge.oersons name was like Va or something. She was heavy set and bossy. She ordered my dad to wait OUTSIDE his own house because she was mopping the kitchen floor and family room. The entire rest of the house was carpeted. This makes my heart race just thinking about it one year later

To unreliable for vulnerable seniors

I had the unfortunate experience of engaging with Care Scope for respite care services for my elderly mother, and I must say it has been a complete disappointment. On multiple separate occasions, I arranged for caregivers through this agency, only to have them not show up without any prior notice. One time this happened, I called the agency to inquire about the caregiver's whereabouts, and I was fed the excuse that the caregiver was stuck in traffic and on the way. However, despite multiple follow-up calls, nobody ever showed up. This lack of professionalism and disregard for commitments is simply unacceptable, especially in the field of caregiving where reliability is paramount. Seniors who require respite care often have specific needs such as ambulation assistance, medication reminders, incontinence care, and mobility support. For a caregiving agency like Care Scope to repeatedly fail to provide the promised services is irresponsible but also puts the well-being of seniors at ris

Our family's experience.

What l would improve. Only one person could cook and she only came for part of one day during the weekend. Nutrition is so important to sick people that it was upsetting that some people couldn't even boil an egg. Even after being shown how to place a lamb chop in the oven people couldn't cook it. On the good side they were friendly and tried to keep my sister comfortable, dry and clean. They got her to her appointments and were nice people.

Carescope has been so much help in taking care of my wife. They have sent a couple of caregivers in the beginning and was not the right match. Communicating with the office staff helped and we were able to find the right match. The caregiver and office staff cared when she went to the hospital by calling us and checking in. I would recommend Carescope to anyone looking for in home care for their loved one.

The caregiver they sent us is wonderful

I’m using this agency to care for my mom so we can get help with socialization and keeping her company. Everything is going good so far. They’ve sent us 1 caregiver and she’s real patient, creative, and sensitive with my Mother. She’s really knowledgeable about the type of care that my mom needs, too. She comes once a week and it’s usually about 8 hours for the day. While she’s there, she makes light breakfast and lunch and really encourages her to eat. They do exercises together and even color. The girl they sent us is really good at engaging in communication with my mom as well and she’s good at keeping her work area tidy. Overall, we’ve been happy and I would recommend them.

Care and Comfort

I am very happy with the staff for getting us help when needed. They are always caring and helpful to our needs. We like that the caretaker comes on time and helps with a lot of the personal care that is needed. I like knowing that there is someone to help with some of the other household responsibilities. We would recommend this service and the respectable caretaker that we have to assistance.

Would not hire

they did not deliver as promised, We had 15 different providers in just 3 months. We paid $1.350 deposit and they are still trying to bill us. The people they sent [Removed], ate our food and we found out my husbands credit card is missing. One of their providers ransacked our home. I would not recommend them to even take care of my pets. This company needs to train the providers much better than they do. They don't deliver as promised. They are not worth what they charge and 15 different providers in just 2 1/2 months is way too many!!!!!! I wouldn't trust them to take care of my pets, let alone my husband.

Excellent caregiver but lacking in other aspects.

The caregiver was excellent. When we interviewed the first time they told us an administrator would come for the first visit but they did not. We are also waiting on a refund from them. My recommendation of them would depend on if they compensate me for that.
