Alice Lorraine Care Center

They go through a lot of staff which is hard on residents. For the most part, staff is great. This is a nice place close to home. How often showers? Brushing their teeth is not happening. I even bought foam scrubs to try and make it easier. My sister has beautiful teeth and I get upset when I see food particles between her teeth. Also, podiatrist no certain schedule .

Alice Lorraine Care Center

Assisted Living Facilities have emerged as one of the most desirable and enjoyable alternatives to nursing homes and other forms of elder care. At ALCC, we understand that there are many choices available to you and your loved ones when it becomes necessary to find that extra help in caring for elderly adults which is why we encourage you to visit our Adult Foster Care Home today. During their stay at ALCC, we will try to provide each resident with their own personal program, involving each as much as they wish with normal daily activities, such as vegetable peeling, furniture dusting, clothes folding, table setting, etc. In addition, we will have a full schedule of “extra” activities, such as crafts, musical entertainment, daily exercise, sing-a-longs, Bingo, etc. In case of a medical emergency, a medical doctor and nurse are on call 24 hours a day. The 60-foot living room overlooks 13 acres of wooded countryside. Flowers and bird feeders abound. There are plenty of secluded areas for quiet walks. The interior of the building has been decorated in warm tones of mauve, blue, green, and burgundy to look and feel as homelike as possible. A 12-foot nourishment center serves the...

Our Experience

They all really work well with family members, it's actually not a bad place at all for an older elderly person. My mom is very happy there at 94 and she just went to the end of 2023 and she is still happy and cared for.

Great Place

My family absolutely loved this place for our mother. She was there for four and a half months and was given the best care possible. She was not sure she wanted to leave her home and liver there. But once she was there she loved it. They are all very caring people. The food was also good she said. They have entertainment and activities also. I would highly recommend this place!!!! Can't say enough good things......

I would not recommend this community!!

They say they are trained for memory care, however they are not. The caregivers are nice they just do not have the training to properly care for the memory care residents. The administrator is very unprofessional. Some of the food was ok. This is 2 floors and the lower level is like a basement. They do not keep it clean it is dark and old.
