Great communication
They are very responsive and check in with family regularly. All the staff (from medical to administrative etc) are very friendly and compassionate. Room sizes are great- spacious, clean, space is comfy feels like a home setting

My comment would be: Assisted Living is ok if your loved one doesn't need any individualized attention to their needs and has minimal dementia behaviors. Memory Care is an absolute disaster unless your patient is placid and docile. The limited staff and administrators have no tolerance, training, or understanding for falls or advanced dementia behaviors. If you love them, find a more suitable facility at the beginning rather than risk getting "dumped" when your family member needs care most.

Some of the staff are personable; a few are not. The DON doesn't respond to my inquiries. Two sisters clean the apartments. They are friendly and respectful and do a nice job. Dining hall servers are helpful and caring. I think the food could be better, but Mom and other residents enjoy it. Servings are small, but seconds can be requested or one may order a lot of side dishes. Move in was simple as mom's apartment has an outside door. Communication is with me, since mom takes no responsibility for herself. I recommend the Assisted living facility to others.

The staff at Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living are awesome. They are all very friendly and helpful, including housekeeping. The move in process was top notch. They recommended a mover and actually helped fund a portion of the move. They actually put my uncle in a model room temporarily (a week) until his permanent room became available. I would definitely recommend Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living to others.

I like that Mom has the same nurse and aide on a regular basis here at Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living. Mom is fussy and they learn her preferences. I like the restaurant style dining, but the residents often eat alone. The dining hall is open until 6pm, so one can eat or get a snack at any time. I would definitely recommend Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living to others!

Such a wonderful Assisted Living community! Every staff member, receptionist, cleaning, dining room, maintenance person treats my mom with such kindness and compassion. The nursing staff is amazing, so responsive and caring. Food is wonderful. This facility Is more spa like than Assisted living while still providing all the services, activities, and medical oversight Assisted Living entails. When it comes my time for Assisted Living I will definitely be there!

I would go to the community myself, and place another loved one in the community again. The staff is really good at keeping the care levels on an individualized basis for each resident. The leadership is good at making sure to know what is going on with each resident in the community as well. The staff communication with the family was perfect and flawless. They were responsive to our questions about our loved one.

We are very happy and content here, and enjoy the community. The meals are very very good. There are two choices at every meal for the residents to choose from and then there is also an a la carte menu to order off of if the resident would like. Some of the activities include: Parkinson's exercise class, bingo, games, weekly ice cream social, weekly bible study and service, and more for the residents to choose from. There is a kitchenette in the apartment for the residents to use as well.

It is a beautiful facility, the ladies at the front desk were very nice and management was very nice. However, the lady in charge of management just had way to much on her plate and was not able to oversee everything going on within the community. Some nurses were great, and some were not. It also seemed like the nurses were kind of just running wild. During the couple of months our loved one was there, it took a month for house keeping to come and clean, when they were supposed to be doing it weekly. Sometimes the entire bed would be changed, and other times only half the bed would be changed, and the food they served was just average.
