Mother really liked it.

My mother lived here for several years, and she really liked it. It was home to her. It was reasonably priced, and the staff was friendly. Eventually her care needs got to be more than they could handle, and we had to move. That was hard.

Do not put family here

Please do not put family here. They do not care. They claim to be a ministry. No they are horrible. The do not care. A resident choke and died on a pill because they didnt crush it in pudding, they didn't read directions. Their food is horrible. It looks old and dated but clean. It's a very bad place. They leave family members waiting to go to the bathroom for a long time. Feces under residents nails and residents not kept clean. The laundry will ruin all your clothes. The nursing staff do not care are long as they dont get in trouble.

RUN

My mother was there for several months. I had to be gone for a few days and they let her sit in a chair unconscious all day without checking on her. She died a few days later from either a stroke or heart attack. Her care before that was not good, either. They are just taking people in for the money. The place was terribly run down and the caregivers, for the most part, didn't care about anything but the next payday.
