If I had to do this over again, I would wait to choose a place until I could see it in person. Due to Covid, I was not able to go in ahead of time to check out the facility, and had I been able to do that, I would not have placed my loved one here. Their handling of maintenance requests is not good. General cleanliness is good, including the floors. But they don't clean the table when they take the tray away after meals. I don't have any problems with the staff. They are doing what they can do for my loved one who is declining.

This place seems nice when you first come in, although it is small, but once you meet the nurses, it’s horrible. They argue, and they don’t seem to care that much about the residents. The main problem is THE DOOR IS NEVER LOCKED. This place is for mentally ill people, for gosh sakes! Someone could very easily get hit by a car! Do not chose Bethany Place! Indian Haven is nearby, and it is 10/10.
