Great Place For Your Family Membrr
Brentwood is a clean facility. The employees look after the residents pretty well. They clean their room weekly. My uncle does say when he pushes the button he wears he doesn’t feel they come to check on him very quickly. However, overall he is happy there.

Review for Brentwood at Niles
Staff doesn't always respond in a timely manner if issues arise. Unless an emergency, be patient, they will eventually. They offer; music from outsiders, happy hour, games, and they have a library. I would definitely recommend to others.

The friendliness of staff and activity level stands out to me at this facility. They have many special events/entertainment. The place has been remodeled and it's very clean. My loved one's room is always immaculate. The food is exceptional.

a nice community
Brentwood at Niles is expensive which is one downfall - but it has been a great community for our loved ones. IT is always very clean and the staff members are extremely friendly. They are super happy with the meals and dining service and based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend them to other families.

It is pleasant
Our mother really does love it there, she really enjoys the community aspect of it. However there is a lot of lip service there, actions speak louder then words and their follow through on things could be improved.

A Good Place For Mom
The staff are very professional and courteous. They were just very good all around. I felt comfortable having my mom there. She actually ate the food, and she's a picky eater. It was just an excellent experience.

I would recommend, nice facility
We chose Brentwood at Niles because of the value for the money. The room sizes at the facility are just fine. My mother needs depends, they do not seem to need them often and we have to provide them so I am not sure they are changing her as often as they should. Overall it is a nice facility and I would recommend them to others looking.

I would go back
We chose Brentwood at Niles because the facility looked nice. We happened to get here at dinner time and they served us a meal, it was EXCELLENT. They had an amazing chef here and the meals he cooked were amazing. The staff here was extremely friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond what they had to do. I cannot say enough good about this facility and would highly recommend. If I need to go somewhere this is where I will go.

Happy with the results
They are nice people. It is clean. I would recommend to a friend or neighbor. Food was better than most institutional food. The room sizes were good. My mom was in both Assisted Living and Memory Care. She was able to have her dog, which was nice.

Where everybody knows your name
I was really impressed that immediately after moving my mom into Brentwood every single staff member knew her and her dog by name. And they continue to greet her by name every time they see her. She had just lost her husband of 69 years and relocated to this area from out of state to be close to family. She was very nervous about moving into a new place all by herself. The staff all went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. Very clean, cheerful environment with super friendly staff. We are very thankful for a safe, comfortable place for mom to live.

Just What We Were Looking For
My mom moved into Brentwood from out of state a year ago, and right from the start she has felt welcomed, valued, and listed to. The business transactions and paperwork to move her in were a breeze, thanks to the strong leadership in place here... introductions to the wonderful and caring teams (nursing staff, kitchen staff, laundry and housekeeping, resident assistants, management, etc.) were kindly done but not at all overwhelming... her introduction to the routines and schedules plus the wonderful social activities was done with enthusiasm, but all the while recognizing that this was a major life shift for her and her family, and thus handled with compassion.
Most of the staff have been serving the seniors at Brentwood for many years, so to me that says a lot about their job satisfaction, plus it shows up in how they respectfully care for each resident and handle incidents and situations as they arise. Mom has come to love many of them, and I know they have come to love her, too; these people are her family now, as well.
Mom really enjoys the food here; it's always fresh and healthy. Portion sizes are perfect; she gets plenty of food but not too much that it's wasted. The big meal of each day is served at lunchtime which I think is really good for seniors. Residents are given choices for each meal which is so important for Mom's continued independence.
Family Night takes place once a month, and the leadership team here continues to amaze me in what they think up as a theme, how much they embrace and put into these special evenings, and how much fun these multi-generational events are for everyone.
The guiding principles here are to help the residents live with/achieve Joy, Independence, and Wellness. These coupled with how I saw the staff work with and care for their residents were the reasons we chose Brentwood to be Mom's home. We made a very good choice and we are all very happy. Thank you, a Place for Mom, for helping me find this great place for her!

A cheery place.
They have great patience with my mom- who has dementia. I have yet to see a grumpy person on staff! When I call they always seem more than happy to help. They take her on bus trips, paint her nails, and encourage her to join in activities. Happy I choose Brentwood!

Too clinical
I toured the Brentwood at Niles. It was a clean and well-maintained facility. The staff was friendly and helpful providing answers to any questions I had regarding the care they would provide for my loved one. It had more of a clinical feel to this facility. I chose another facility that was a better fit for our care needs.

The core staff there is awesome, but there seems to be a lot of new faces that don't seem to stay around long. The space is small, not fancy and a bit tired looking but the care is good. I have not observed any activities but I am usually there during the evening hours or weekend. My mom's room, which is private, is a nice size accommodates her necessities. All the patients/clients/residents seem to be comfortable and content.

My nice home and care
I like this nice community. The staff is outstanding and very helpful. The variety of the meals is good. We like that they offer a lot nice of nice. I would recommend this great community to other who want a good place to call home and a nice value for the care.

They can do much better.
I have a parent living at Brentwood. Initially I felt very good about Brentwood and the services, the well-trained staff, the skilled nurses, and the administration. Over the past 4 years I have seen all of this go down hill. After being bought out twice by other companies the older skilled staff is gone and has been replaced by young people. The original nurses have gone, the administrator is always in her office, the one superb employee is now gone and I'm hoping the activities don't become status quo and childish. The list of amenities that are listed are quite embellished. There is no place for outside activity at Brentwood and others that are stated as being there are not. All in all my parent is safe, it is clean, allows pets, and she is fed.

The care is great at this community. The staff members are very helpful and nice. The food seems to be very good here. They do offer her activities to stay active. A clean community. We would recommend this to other families for good care and value.

Great place for your loved one
They are friendly, will call you by name. Mom is settling in, and starting to open up with everyone. They keep it spotless and it always smells good. They have so many services to offer, which surprised me. Helps to relieve a lot of the family care giving.

Nice place, overall!
Overall our experience with Brentwood at Niles has been a good one! It's a very friendly place, and they do a good job keeping everything looking clean and well kept. It seems like a very active place, socially. There are various sorts of entertainment they bring in, and happy hour a few times a week. My one suggestion would to be to have activities a bit more frequently.
