How fortunate I was to find Brookeville House for my Dad. Making the decision to move a loved one out of their home is difficult for all involved. After a few falls it became apparent that Dad (86) could no longer live by himself. I contacted Brookeville House and fortunately they had a lovely room available. [names removed] (owners) quickly put a plan in place. The house manager came to the hospital throughout the week to visit Dad and he was moved from there to Brookeville House in November. His recovery has been steady and ongoing. With the help of the physical therapists and staff at Brookeville House he is moving around as he did a year ago! Brookeville House 2 was the perfect place for Dad. A large rambler in a country setting , looking on to a field with horses. The kitchen is always smelling of breakfast, lunch or dinner. As well, I can bring anything I want to fix or save for Dad. The staff is awesome! They are so thoughtful and respectful with their care giving. Rooms are always clean and tidy, clothes are washed and beds made comfortable. And I know that they have taken the time to get to know each resident individually. It has been so nice to get to know the staff. I don’t think you would find this in some of the larger places that I visited. Lastly, I placed my trust in Evelyn and George again when it soon came time for my mom to move to assisted living. Many episodes with early Dementia and depression. Again, they put a plan in place and made a visiting nurse available at her home until her room was open at Brookeville House. Evelyn worked very closely and personally with me to make this all happen. I am so happy to have found Brookeville House for my parents. I am completely confident that they will thrive and be taken care of in a loving and caring and professional assisted living home.

Director's were most informative. The home is beautiful in every aspect. includes 2 rides a month if needed for appointments, pharmacy arrangements, established relationship with a local doctor. Director's are professional, caring, and highly organized. Staff retention has been very good for them. It was quiet with 2 of the residents in their rooms and one out at senior day center. I liked that a single room is currently an option. There is a non-refundable deposit equal to first month's rent. I think that is a very steep processing fee. The home can have 5 residents.

Took Mom to lunch there. Wonderful facility. Waiting to see if her long term care insurance will cover this facility. Took my siblings there last week and we all agree this would be good for Mom.
