Casa de Katherine

Casa de Katherine offers senior living and memory care services in the rolling hills of Simi Valley, California. The enclosed backyard retreat provides spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. Inside, you'll find sun-filled rooms that create an inviting, cheerful environment. Organized group activities are provided, as well as medication administration, three daily meals with snacks, and 24-hour care and supervision.

The community provides care for a maximum of six residents ages 60+, which allows for a higher staff-to-patient ratio and an opportunity for more personalized care than you may find at larger facilities. Residents can choose from private and semi-private apartments, which also includes wheelchair-accessible ground unit options. Caregivers provide assistance with activities of daily living, Alzheimer's and dementia care, on-site hospice, and respite care.

Simi Valley offers a secluded retreat located about 40 miles north of Los Angeles. Surrounded by the picturesque Santa Susana Mountains and Simi Hills, the region features an abundance of trails for hiking and biking and is home to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. Additionally, the area’s premier health care facility — Adventist Health Simi Valley — is conveniently located 10 minutes from the Casa de Katherine community. Casa De Katherine

I felt that Casa De Katherine would be a good fit for my mother because it’s a smaller place; it feels homey, leisurely, and comfortable. My mother did decide she wanted to go home after one night of living there, but that is by no means a reflection of the community itself. The staff was very helpful throughout the entire process from touring to move-in to move out and my mother said the food was very good. She was very impressed with the community. I also like that they do have activities available, but it is a very casual program that lets residents decide for themselves if they want to be a part of things or not. It wasn’t an overwhelming, big place, but it was comfortable and felt homey.

Casa De Katherine !!

My Mother is "thriving" due to the care of the staff at Case De Katherine. In just a few short weeks, the difference in my Mother is so apparent. Everything is improving for her. Thank you so very much Case De Katherine!! The environment is calm, peaceful and happy. The individual needs are addressed. I sleep at night now knowing my Mother is cared for in such a healthy home! My Mother will say each time I go to visit. "Everyone is so nice to me"!!

Casa de Katherine has been very helpful.

Casa de Katherine has been very helpful. They keep her in good care, and she seems to be happy there. There really isn't anything I would like to see improved or done better. They are doing a very good job.
