We offer emergency pendants, which make it easy to get assistance no matter where you are. Should you ever need it, we’re able to offer on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapies. You’ll benefit from ongoing assessments conducted by one of our licensed nurses, which help us make sure you’re getting the proper level of care.</p> <p>We offer three levels of care at Cedarhurst of Blue Springs. Supportive care involves verbal reminders to complete important activities of daily living, such as bathing, to help you maintain healthy habits. Assistive care offers supervision from one of our caregivers to make sure you can complete your task without any problems. We’re happy to offer hands-on assistance if you ask for it, or if the task is difficult for you. Comprehensive care shifts the responsibility for your personal care tasks to our caregivers. We’ll offer plenty of hands-on support to help you maintain healthy habits, but will step back and let you do things independently when you ask. We’ll always provide medication management, regardless of the level of care you’re receiving.</p> <p>If your loved one is joining us for memory care, they’ll benefit from being in a secure area of our community. We group people together based on cognitive ability to make it easier to bond and do activities together. We offer many comforting features in our memory care area, including large hallways and clear sightlines to important aspects of the community. Your loved one will benefit from working with a team of caregivers who receive specialized training from a certified dementia expert, and frequent meetings with our physician and nurse practitioner.</p> <p>If you’re a full-time caregiver, you may be interested in our adult day care and respite care options.
