Questionable Staff Members & Unexplained Camera Malfunctions!

If you don’t read another line, hear this: check on your people or put in a camera!! MeadowLark (formerly Meadowbrook) is a top-rated place, but they choose to employ questionable people. We had one amazing CNA while my mom was at MB, but many were average, with a few mishandling her. We caught one CNA mishandling our 81-year-old mom, who had dementia, strokes, and other health issues (*we had a camera in her room). When we reported it, the supervisor decided to assign extra online modules to all CNAs and “talk” to the offending CNA when he returned two days later. We asked if there would be retaliation and were assured there would be none. We were told the CNA wouldn’t return to our mom’s room. However, the night the administrator spoke to him, and for the one and only time in six weeks of using the camera, it suspiciously went offline. Our mom wasn’t the same after that night. It’s sickening to think of what happened when the camera was down.
