The staff at Clermont Park is very friendly and helpful-willing to address any concerns or issues. The housekeeping seems to be fine. I have not tried the meals, but there is a good variety and several standard options. So far, I would recommend the facility.

Inconsisent Care...Beautiful Setting

Poor management of staff. Medications are not consistently given as the doctor ordered. The input of changes to existing meds or additions of new meds to a residents computerized personal care file are often delayed by hours or even overnight. Understaffed and very slow response times to resident calls for assistance. Our calls to the nursing station are frequently not answered and messages left are not returned.

Don't bother

They're understaffed and need more nurses, it could take up to thirty minutes for them to respond to the emergency button in the room (not ok at all) especially in the evenings/ at night. Even after saying that was ridiculous they didn't change or say much. They give "free" haircuts but charge $20 anyway, the food is mediocre but they do make sure everyone has eaten. The staff that isn't apart of the nursing is generally rude and dismissive, I asked a man in the office where they offered snacks for between meals and he snapped why would he know, probably cause you work there but thanks for being an ass. Any time something happened with my grandmother it was address because WE noticed long before any nursing staff (rashes, needing a bath, needing a diaper change etc.) I will say [Removed] (nurse) and [Removed] (coordinator) were absolutely amazing and without their help and hard work would have given this place one star but they were so kind and helpful to my grandmother while she was at the facility.

Looked very nice!

We toured this location when we were looking into care options for my Dad. This was very near to being our first choice, unfortunately the waiting list was too long during the time that we were looking for options. They had some very nice amenities, although Dad was not sure he would use all of them.

Cousin in Rehab

My cousin is in their rehab right now and I think that's going pretty good. That was our first choice because she's been there so much and I think the care is good too.

Tips for evaluating your community options

Safety is a primary concern when seniors and their families look for Assisted Living. To ensure that a community meets your needs and expectations, we recommend that seniors and family members:

  • Tour the location: Touring allows you to speak to current residents and staff, and helps you confirm the accuracy of the community description and photos. Use our touring checklist to help guide your visit.

  • Confirm the availability of required services: Before you commit, make sure that the community offers all the services your senior needs, and that those services can be provided within your budget.

  • Know the Colorado regulations for Assisted Living: Each state has its own laws and inspections processes to ensure seniors reside in a safe environment. Depending on your state, you may even be able to look up inspection reports for the community(ies) you’re considering. Learn more about Colorado regulations for Assisted Living.

A Place for Mom has scored Clermont Park 7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
