We are a spacious community located right in the middle of an area ripe with other care homes and senior residencies, as well as a quaint shopping village consisting of natural grocers and thrift stores. Compass Rose Assisted Living provides a special combination of personalized support services, health care, and housing, designed to meet the individual needs of our residents. We aim to treat all of our residents with respect and tenderness.</p> <h3>Our Community</h3> <p>Compass Rose takes pride in providing quality customer service, allowing our small community of residents the ability to enjoy a maintenance-free lifestyle in our warm, homelike environment. We promote maximum independence and dignity of each resident, and encourage the involvement of their families and friends.</p> <h3>Living Arrangements</h3> <p>Every apartment comes with individual climate control and varied kitchen set-ups. Compass Rose is a small, tightly-knit community, but there's still room for you to have your own personal space. </p> <h3>On-Site Activities</h3> <p>Our residents can exercise their physical and mental health with a number of activities offered. We have classes for basic Tai Chi, walking groups, and water aerobics. We have a putting green on the premises to get a little bit of golfing in.</p> <h3>Dining</h3> <p>Compass Rose has a state-of-the-art kitchen serving delicious meals, which consists of rotating daily specials as well as our always-available menu. Residents are offered three healthy, home-cooked meals per day, and our chefs can create menu items to accommodate varied dietary requirements. </p> <h3>Personal Services</h3> <p>The staff at Compass Rose are able to assist residents with a number of daily activities. Caregivers can help residents in and out of the shower and can provide assistance with dressing and toileting. Frequent staff presence is available to aid you or your loved one with any time-sensitive needs. </p> <h3>Medical Care</h3> <p>Some of the medical services that Compass Rose provides includes medication management, as well as physical, speech, and occupational therapies. </p> <h3>Care Types Offered</h3> <p>Compass Rose is licensed as an <em>Assisted Living Home</em> with <em>Directed Care Services</em>. These terms are defined as follows: </p> <p><strong>Assisted Living Home </strong></p> <p>In the state of Arizona, an <em>Assisted Living Home</em> refers to a health care institution other than a hospital or a nursing care institution which provides resident beds or residential units, supervisory care services, personal care service, directed care services or health-related services for persons who do not need inpatient nursing care. This can include adult foster care, supervisory care services, personal care services or directed care services provided on a continuing basis. This type of facility provides resident rooms or residential units to ten or fewer residents.</p> <p><strong>Directed Care Services</strong></p> <p>The term <em>Directed Care Services</em> refers to programs and services, including personal care services, provided to persons who are incapable of recognizing danger, summoning assistance, expressing need or making basic care decisions.</p>
