Personal review of Copper Ridge.........

We placed our sister at Copper Ridge, at the end of March; the physical appearance of the dining room, sitting rooms and the small but adequate individual rooms were what impressed us. There is also a craft room and lovely outdoor sitting areas. The community showers are nice, however, the patients can, and do, decline that service allowing them to go without showers or any easy way of getting cleaned up. I would expect a facility that is responsible for the welfare of people who have dementia, ta take the lead here. All the staff are kind to my sister, we can speak to them at all times; not so the administration. Also, monthly billing is random leaving us to wait. Calls to Peak Health about issues, go unheeded frequently. Lastly, we are very concerned by the lack of information regarding the status of transition to a new administrative group, why the mystery? The patient's staff gets an A for their professionalism and patience and we are grateful for their friendly concern.

Stay Away!

My mother broke her hip and went to Copper Ridge for rehabilitation. She would have had better treatment at my dog’s veterinarian. The entire facility stinks terribly. When she came home her clothes stunk so bad I had to wash them many times and almost gave up and threw them away. She was left alone at the end of a long hallway. It was close to impossible to get in touch with doctors or other medical personnel. They let her fall multiple times. We have experiences with other nursing facilities and they are not all like this! I was overwhelmed at the time but now I know to warn others to not send their family members there for any amount of time. Notice that the photos on here are all of the lobby and outside because the patients’ rooms are run down and falling apart.
