Amazing/Grateful
I truly believe that if we hadn't found Country House for my mom, she wouldn't be with us anymore. The prior facility she was living in didn't give her the attention and care she needed and I honestly believe she was given up. Her attitude and her overall daily function has shown a complete 360* turnaround in what she showed before. I can't express enough how appreciative we are to everyone at Country House.
About the facility CountryHouse at Council Bluffs
At Country House Residence for Memory Care, seniors receive comprehensive care from a knowledgeable care team. Through compassionate services, residents are enabled to live fulling lives in a comfortable homelike setting. The care team dedicates time to getting to know residents and providing them with an experience that caters to their health and lifestyle needs.
Care and services at CountryHouse include assistance with daily living care activities in addition to special memory care services. The memory care facility has indoor and outdoor amenities that enable residents to stay social and engaged with staff and residents. In addition to on-site services, the care team can also take residents to appointments. The care team also provides support and communication to residents' family members as well.
The staff at CountryHouse dedicates time to planning eventful and interactive activities and events for residents weekly. Activities promote interaction and socialization within the community.

They do a very good with my loved ones care. They keep him very busy with activities. It seems like they have a good variety of meals served. It is expensive but totally worth it for what they provide. I would definitely recommend CountryHouse Residents for those looking for memory care for their loved ones.

When it came time to make the excruciating decision to place mom in a memory care facility my 5 siblings and I were incredibly stressed about where to place our beloved mother. Thank God we found CountryHouse!! I had spent several decades in a career that took me into many nursing care facilities including memory care facilities. I was very skeptical of being able to find a place that would be "good enough" for mom.
CountryHouse cured my skepticism and they proved to be the most caring home and staff that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I cannot say enough for the way they cared for not only our mother but it was readily apparent that all residents were cared for incredibly well. The activities and interactions I know added a great deal of happy time to my mothers life! The best led and managed home I have seen!!! Thank You CountryHouse staff!!!!

Love Country House for Mom
They have kept Grandma busy with the most fun activities. The meals are very good and the staff are all very sweet and caring. Very clean also. The outings every week have been very fun and interesting and they help a lot with sundowners. Grandma always called us lonely and confused and now she is very content at Country House.

A loving, safe place for Mom.
The staff of Country House are very caring people. They not only look after the residents but the families going through this difficult time with their loved ones.
All the interactions I have seen of staff with residents have been done with respect and patience.

comfort, peace of mind
if you're in a situation where you are needing a safe, caring environment where activities are offered and communication is efficient and open, then this is your place.
CountryHouse Residences is strictly a memory care community. they offer amenities, such as: an in house salon, people who come in for speech and occupational therapy, and a daily activity bus for outings. the community can house up to 36 residents, but I do believe that they are staffed properly and can fit the needs of their residents.

Overall it was a wonderful experience
We were quite happy with the community, and the cleanliness of the place was excellent. The meals we were able to eat there were pretty good, and the activities were appropriate there was always something going on. While our loved one was passing, the staff members were there with us and they were very sympathetic and understanding. They were more than capable dealing with the multiple personalities of all the residents, they were so gentle and kind.

I Strongly Do Not Recommend!! Make sure you ask lots of questions. If your Loved one has Special needs spell them out and hope that they follow them. The less trouble the resident the better the care. After our Loved one got out of the hospital after one such lack of care incident, we moved our Loved one to a different facility. Arlington Place, way better care and they had No COVID related Deaths, ask Country House. about their high number of COVID related deaths. The deficiencies go on, check the complaints the State.
