Excellent care for its residents…. Compassion is the common denominator…a beautiful facility with lush green vegetation around and flower beds, and hanging baskets… immaculately clean. They provide homemade meals and make sure the residents are staying hydrated and clean…

Lack of ice-free access prevented me from dinner with Dad before he died, also unfair charges

My Mom & Dad stayed at Daniela’s serenity care. Staff good, but management not good. We were prevented from using digital picture frames and [name removed] in their room, which had been important for video calls so they could see grandkids etc. Communication was lacking. For instance, Dad fell in late [date removed] and we didn’t find out until many days or more later. The front & back ramps were not kept ice free. Twice ([date removed]) I came to take him to dinner and could not get him out of the facility because there was no safe way for any resident in a wheelchair to leave. My Dad died in the afternoon on the first of the month, and Daniela charged us the full monthly $[amount removed] for the few hours he lived that month (we had an extra week paid from when my mom died there previously). Less than 48 hours later, we came to remove his personal belongings, but they had already been removed. We had to sort his personal belongings outside in the driveway in the freezing cold.

Truly exceptional care. We couldn’t be happier. It’s an indescribable feeling to know that your loved one is treated with the compassion and respect that you’d provide yourself.

Not the right fit!

The tour we took was really nice and the staff was nice and very helpful and answered all of our questions. The residents were out and interacting with some of the other residents. This community just did not fit for my friend.

Great place!

We found this place when it had just opened. It is just excellent overall! Excellent staff, and great care! Mom is very happy there. There are only six residents. She is just thriving, even with dementia!
