We specialize in such services as memory care, ambulatory care, diabetic care, incontinence care, and medication management. A network of community doctors, nurses, and therapists are also available to residents to aid in their ongoing and evolving care.</p> <p>We provide three chef-inspired meals per day in our restaurant-style dining room. We know that nutrition is a cornerstone of wellness, which is why we work hard each day to provide satisfying meals that accommodate the dietary needs of residents.</p> <p>In between meals, take advantage of our robust activity calendar and common spaces. Read a book in the garden, chat with another resident in the living room, drink a hot cup of tea in the sun room, and more. If you’re looking for more structure, join in on our on-site and off-site events and activities — to keep your mind and body active.</p> <h3>Living Arrangements</h3> <p>All residents enjoy studio or one-bedroom apartments. Our floor plans are spacious, sunlit, and feature amenities such as wheelchair-accessible showers, WiFi, kitchenettes, ground-floor units, cable TV, and air conditioning. In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows:</p> <p><strong>Assisted Living Facility</strong></p> <p>A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities:</p> <p><u>Type A</u>: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted.<br> <u>Type B</u>: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair.<br> <u>Type C (Adult Foster Care)</u>: 4-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program.
