Residents are encouraged to remain as independent as they’d like while staff helps take care of the rest. <p>The community provides three nutritious meals daily along with healthy snacks. Menus are prepared ahead of time and account for the dietary needs of residents. <p>The Essex currently offers studio and one-bedroom suites, both with a private bath. Most rooms are equipped with studio refrigerators, sink and cabinet areas, ceiling fans, and large closets. Both furnished and unfurnished options are available. Residents are always welcome to bring their own furniture and decor to help create a nostalgic home.</p>
<p>Residents who need services just for the day can enjoy the perks of adult day watch. The community understands that working families can’t always be there, so they are happy to offer daycare services. They can offer home-cooked meals, medication administration, a quiet resting area, and several entertainment options.</p>

<p>Essex of Ozark is a <em>residential care facility</em>, which in the state of Missouri is a facility which provides 24-hour care to three or more residents who need or are provided with shelter, board, and protective oversight, which may include storage, distribution or administration of medications, and care during short-term illness or recuperation. Residents who live in an RCF are required to make a path to safety unassisted. A licensed Nursing Home Administrator is not required.</p>
