Where to send your worst enemy

I went to visit my partner the morning after she was transferred there. Walked in to her curled up in a ball very distraught. She had been laying in her own feces for over an hour. They did everything they could to hinder her rehab and turn her into a long term Medicaid resident. Not filing appeals for higher level PT when there was more than enough documentation. Comparing medical transport vehicles to Ubers when they don't show up. Losing non formulary meds. They bring rehab patients to a level where it's easy to care for them in a nursing home setting but impossible for family to take care of their loved one at home. Paint pealing off the walls in the bathrooms. Not adhering to protocol for patients who have fallen. Handing out Oxycodone like it's candy. Changing hospital discharge med levels to a lower level so patients can't withstand much physical therapy. Short term patients on SSI and Medicaid will become long term residents. Have the long term care ombudsmen on speed dial.

Good PT, but not somewhere for a long term stay

My loved one stayed here briefly for some physical therapy. I thought they did an excellent job with the therapy, but the facility itself was not a very pleasant or comfortable place. It was older, and just had a very clinical feel. It's not somewhere I'd recommend as a long term option.
