We're all so happy to have found this lovely group home
My sister-in-law was moved to Cherry Blossom in Renton, WA from an independent living facility. It has now been about 2 months and she is finally getting into a good routine. We've always liked the staff, but it was an adjustment for her. She has a lovely room, and the staff are so kind and genuinely caring about her needs.
We, as a family are so happy to have found a group home where is happy and so well taken care of.

Golden Circle Adult Family Home is a residential care home for seniors located in Kent, WA in King County. Kent is just south of Seattle, so it offers all the exciting opportunities city living provides but without all the traffic. This vibrant community offers a wide variety of shopping, dining, cultural, and entertainment opportunities to enjoy with visiting family and friends. The weather is cool and mild throughout the year.

Would not recommend due to lack of good nutrition, personal hygiene and basic care.
We had a bad experience. The meals were not balanced. They would give a large scoop of super thick oatmeal with no milk or sugar along with 1/3rd cup of tomato soup for lunch. Minimal meat or protein, fruits and vegetables with meals. Why give oatmeal for both breakfast and lunch on the same day? Staff were hard to understand. Lots of cobwebs in the bathroom. Patient wasn't bathed regularly. When I told the owner that we wanted to move the resident due to lack of care, [name removed], the owner, called me and cussed me out saying the "F" word over and over. It was very unprofessional!! I would never recommend this place to anyone due to the lack of care. [name removed]seemed nice in the beginning, but wow what an eye opener when he called and cussed me out. I worry about the other residents still in the home. Luckily we moved our loved one out of there as quickly as possible. Definitely would not recommend due to lack of good nutrition, personal hygiene and basic care. They leave their residents in dark, cold rooms all day. Very sad!

Neglectful
Our parents are there, even now.
1. We have a VERY difficult time reaching them by phone!
2. The owner updates one sibling (NOT the POA) so we should all be updated
3. Our dad has a HUGE hole in his back that is rotting and smells. He isn’t getting the best care for it
4. Both parents have lived in ONE room together but pay for TWO and the owner told us this is a state requirement. After talking to the State, it is NOT a requirement that they pay for two rooms when they share one. So $$$ is the goal NOT care
5. Both our parents went from coherent, walking and good weight to skin and bones, one bed bound with now TWO wounds and another that just lays around.
I could go on and on. If you give a rip about your loved one, find ANYWHERE but here.
Oh, they also tried to make them move last year when there was a mandate that seniors couldn’t be moved. Called APS and that went away real quick. It’s not all on the place as one sibling (again NOT the POA) is a suck up.

Disappointed
I would tell others not to choose this community. We ended up moving my loved one out of the community.
I don't believe there were any activities in the community for the residents.
There was an incident that our loved one's family couldn't get a hold of the staff to come to the door. They didn't want to assist my family with our loved one during a fall.
