Our main home is comfortable and cozy with a landscaped exterior to enjoy the Texas sunshine!</p>
<h3>Community Amenities and Services</h3>
<p>We know that each resident’s needs differ, which is why we take a personalized approach to care. Residents can choose from assisted living and memory care and benefit from the help of on-site nurses for non-medical tasks like hygiene, personal, and companionship care. Additionally, we offer diabetic care, incontinence care, and medication management. Our team of caregivers extends to a variety of doctors and therapists in the area who help ensure that you are comfortable and happy.</p>
<p>All of our residents enjoy three chef-inspired meals per day. We pride ourselves on creating delicious and nutritious meals and snacks. We are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions. In between meal time, take advantage of our on- and off-site activities. Take a stroll through the garden, watch a show with fellow residents, say hello to furry friends (yes, we allow residents to bring their dogs and cats!), and participate in resident birthday parties and holiday parties. We provide the opportunity for residents to take part in their respective religious service and will provide transportation to and from!</p>
<h3>Living Arrangements</h3>
<p>Residents have the choice between studio, one-bedroom, and private suites. Each of our spacious floor plans are light, airy, and have an abundance of natural light and are ready for their newest resident: you! Don’t worry about housekeeping 一 we’ve got it covered. With wireless internet and cable TV access, handicap accessible bathrooms and showers, and ground floor units, we are well-equipped to assist you or your loved ones. Our community is secured for our memory care residents and we offer short-term respite stays as well as longer residential or hospice plans on-site.</p>

<h3>Care Types Offered</h3>
<p>Good Living Community Care is a <em>Type B assisted living facility</em>. In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows:</p>
<p></p><h3>Assisted Living Facility</h3>
<p>A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities:</p>
<p></p><dl><dt>Type A:</dt><dd>A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted.</dd><br>
<dt>Type B:</dt><dd>A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair.</dd><br>
<dt>Type C (Adult Foster Care):</dt><dd>Four-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. The facility provides supervision and personal care services to residents.</dd></dl><p></p>
