The community is very nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They are understaffed but are working hard to recruit more staff. The community is very homey and they have lots of activities and I would recommend this community

All the staff were very professional and friendly and had been with this facility a long time. I liked the homelike atmosphere and also the outdoor space.

The community cares for the residents. They are very attentive. If there are concerns they reach out to me about loved one.

Grace House offers a clean, safe environment with personal attention that can only been had in a small facility. The people that work there are kind and caring.

My 90 year old mother currently resides at Grace House and has for the past 14 months. We moved her from a large chain independent/dependent living facility in which she lived for 6 years. As she became older and had a few small strokes we moved her to the assisted living part of her original facility. The care was poor and they were charging for every little service. Her daily assisted showers were 10.00 each just to mention one thing. The facility was charging for anything they could find and the bills were outrageous. A friend of mine had her parents at Grace House and she talked with me and was so happy with the care they were receiving. My sister and I toured the facility and found it neat, clean and very welcoming. We were told there was a blanket cost for all services so we would know what to expect each month. This made it much easier for us to budget the monthly cost. The employees and caregivers love and respect the residents there. Some have been there since the facility opened years ago and you can see they truly love their job. The facility is small and more of a "home" feel than an institution. There is low employee turnover which helps with the anxiety that older people can feel not knowing who with be caring for them day to day. The chefs are very accommodating to specific nutritional needs of the residents and with such a smaller community they quickly learn the particulars of each person's diet. There is monthly entertainment and social gatherings but since Covid this has had to be curtailed Covid has placed a lot of pressure on the employees to keep the residents safe and I will say they have done a great job. They abide by all the CDC recommendations and so far so good. Your family members will be loved and cared for here.

My mother has been a resident at Grace House for over nine years. The staff is extremely caring and truly loves the residents. Five member of the team, including the director, were at Grace House before mom came- I know I can always depend on them! The caregivers are all very loving, the place is clean and the food is excellent!

My mom has lived at Grace House for almost four years. Her care has been exceptional the entire time. The staff is very caring and personal, making the residents feel like family. The shining star of this facility is the food- the meals are all made from scratch with extremely healthy choices- no canned vegetables here! Each residents' dietary needs and desires are addressed as well. My mom could not be happier living at Grace House and I am happy for her to be there- safe and sound.

My mom has been living at Grace House for over a month now. It was a very difficult, but necessary decision to move from her beloved home. However, with the extremely kind, patient and professional staff, the transition as been highly successful. The homey, friendly atmosphere provides social interaction and does not feel institutional at all. Management is very responsive and helpful. It is apparent that they and the rest of the staff really do care. This has been the right choice for us. Most importantly, Mom is happy and well taken care of.

This is without a doubt the best facility I know of in this part of Texas. The caregivers are kind, very efficient and willing to go the extra mile for those they care for. The food is wonderful! "Always" The facility is always clean and tidy. Excellent activity programs, gathering. Very well managed in every way.

The staff at Grace House took outstanding care of my 98-year-old mother for the last four months of her life, after she suffered a stroke. The setting is very home-like and pleasant. The staff treat everyone with respect and care, and the ratio of staff to patients is 8:2, way above the industry average. The food is cooked from scratch and really delicious. I can’t say enough nice things about Grace House and the care my mother received while she was there.

I think this is a great community, and I'am satisfied with my fathers move to this community. I know he is safe, and in good hand overall. They have a great staff at this facility. They have been supportive, and they are very in tune with their residents. When I visit the community, and his room are well maintained. The meals look fantastic, and they offer good activities for the residents. This is a community I would recommend to my friends, it is nice facility.

This is a lovely facility with a low caregiver to resident ratio. I feel Mom would have been happy here as well as the smaller home we chose, which was more conveniently located between family members. Only positive vibes here!

Love the small number of residents and the personalized care. Focus on creating a 'home' atmosphere is great. Only concern is the public space being too small. The living room has just a couple of sofas, the dining room just four tables. Would she enjoy the interaction ALL the time and if not, only retreat would be her room. The only room available is decent, not the greatest view (of the front door and parking lot).

They are clean, and friendly. They seem to be consistent, price wise, with other locations. The response time seems appropriate for the level they are. They do have a calendar with lots of activities. The food seems ok, I haven't had any complaints, I haven't tried it myself though.

Our mother is here right now. She only wants to sit in her room and sleep and will not take part in any activities. She cries if she leaves the room. We need to find a cheaper place if she will not take part in the activities, which she is not doing at all! We have had problems with her being bathed and her clothes and hair being washed, and her bed being changed (we change it). She complains incessantly about there being only 'freaks' there.
