If you're looking for care after surgery Legend is NOT the place to go. My boyfriend had his artificial knee removed and was in pain more than he was comfortable. He would use the call button to tell them he was in pain, but recieved no response. He wasn't given any meds after he went in on Friday and surgery the following Monday. The excuse was they couldn't reach the doctor even though they had two other doctors they could've called to get pain meds. He was allowed to use his own pain meds and told they would replace them before he was discharged. We've wondered what happened to those meds. They aren't use to giving care to rehab patients, just those who have chronic conditions. There are several more complaints we had about his stay. Don't go there expecting to get the care you need after surgery because you wont.

I would not recommend this facility to anyone!

Legend Healthcare facility/staff are uncaring, understaffed, unprofessional and not trained/skilled in patient treatment especially involving patient care.. Legend Healthcare are required to re-position patient every 2 hours but did not respond to call button for 2 1/2 hours! There are not any skilled nurses nor nurses aids ever available to help. None of the staff wear name tags nor badges and they never give you their names. The only thing that the staff will do is come into patients room to turn off the call button. I would not recommend this facility to anyone!
