Nice, quaint community
[name removed] met us at the apartment after hours due to a delay in loading the truck at the previous residence. She was very kind. The food is very good, diverse and healthy. Their portions are big and they have alternate menu items if you dont want something different. There are plenty of activities. The residents are nice and social. The rooms are pretty big.

For starters, it is no longer under Holiday management. Provincial Senior Living took over [date removed]. It is architecturally challenged because of its age (built 1980s) but still provides all amenities. Staff is wonderful: Always accessible & caring.

The apartments have new carpets and are quite comfortable. The staff are well trained and professional and everyone is very friendly The meals are well planned. They provide transportation for shopping and doctors appointments. I am quite comfortable here

Since it was an Independent Facility, there was no actual care to rate. The staff was friendly, however, turnover of staff was a huge issue. Food was not bad tasting, simply portions were very small and additional servings were not available. And the wait staff was the same as the housekeeping staff and they were extremely slow and inefficient. Facility was old and needed significant repairs and maintenance and was more than 1 maintenance man could handle. However, [name removed}, the maintenance man was very pleasant and worked extremely hard to handle any request and repairs needed.

The people who work here are very nice. I’m not too fussy about most things, and I can put up with a lot. The food is fine, but sometimes the glassware and silverware are not really clean. I worked in a large restaurant and ran the dining room. I also hired and trained the wait staff. I am fussy about cleanliness. I personally think that all the silverware and dishes that are left on the tables after customers finish eating and leave , should be removed and washed even if it was not used. We live in a home where we are all old and get sick easily. I have seen people sneeze and cough and then touch the silverware and cups and move them around, even if they’re not being used. Germs spread very fast in a facility like this.. One other thing about living here is (it takes forever to get anything fixed). I’m talking many weeks. You need more than one person to do the maintenance here. . Plus all the (RED) tape and paperwork to get parts for fixing any problems.

My memaw has lived here for about a year. I always look forward to her phone calls where she tells me how much she looks forward to the activities and bingo. She enjoys the food options and the planned excursions.

I recently went to visit my memaw and she is happy as a clam there. I love seeing all the fun activities they do for them. Including bingo and opportunities for them to socialize. Friendly, caring staff. She has met so many friends there. 5 stars.

Whenever I enter the building, staff and residents are welcoming. Workers are diligent in keeping building clean. Always activities and the residence appear very happy. Love the popcorn smell. New floors, roofing and paint to halls have improved the appearances to the building as well.

The staff is kind and helpful. The new Management is not. The previous manager. was great. But he suddenly quit. The new Manager is polite but not nice. She's false. There needs to be improvement in the management and the food before I could recommend it.

Its a great community with lots to offer! Great activities. They just put new floors down that look amazing. Staff is so nice and friendly, Residents also. Lake Ridge Village seem like the perfect place to live.

Saw The place at move in and was back to visit in June. It is spacious and fits his budget. Public areas clean. Unit housekeeping needs improvement. The dining room is all that he uses. Calendar looks interesting and see people participate in activities. Facilities are old need carpet update in hallways badly. Dining room and public areas are clean and freshly painted. For [name removed] he would give it a 4. Family is pleased that we found it and that it works for him and meets budget requirements but overall facilities are old and need a face-lift. We are pleased that he is happy and managing. Overall we are pleased with the spacious unit 1 BR. Appliances were new flooring was a vinyl and fairly new. Bathroom is well spaced and Handicap accessible. Good storage in the unit. [name removed] favorite is the screened patio/porch. I would recommend that you fully identify to everyone that it is truly independent living.

The entire building in dirty, carpeting, floors, fans are thick with dusk. So many things. I have personally brought these things and many other cleaning issues to no avail I would not recommend this facility to anyone!

A place for Mom helped us look through different locations for my Father and several were a good fit for him but we're outside of our price range. However with a little persistence we were able to find a place that was within our budget, nice and friendly, and fit our needs for my father. I appreciate a place for mom for helping us find the place as we would not have done so on our own.
