Incredible and Loving Assisted Living

I am shocked to see a bad review written for Lynda's Courtyard. They are incredible with my mom. She was in a nightmare rehab facility beforehand. Here at Lynda's, it's 10 residents only, ensuring proper care by its staff. My mom is so happy there - she loves the food and the carers. The director has always been responsive to my questions.

They shouldn't even get ONE star!

First & foremost, this is not an assisted living or retirement community, it's an (un)skilled nursing home! Daily activities are far from the truth, ALL staff being certified is incorrect. If by "home cooked" they're referring to basic TV dinners slapped on a plate then that is true. The "manager" does not return calls, follow through with family complaints & doesn't have the slightest clue what is going on! She is a rare sighting at the actual home, a smooth talker & employs her friends who are rough & mean to residents! The "renters" lack common sense & integrity. This could be due to the lack of appropriate training or zero experience in this field. There's a VERY high turnover rate, caregivers are overworked, make barely above minimum, have difficult behavioral residents & two people assists to ONE caregiver. After my MULTIPLE complaints were ignored about staff & L.O's care, I HAD TO move them out!
