<p>Magda’s Family Home Care is a board and care home in Phoenix, Arizona. For years we’ve dedicated our home to enriching the lives of our aging local community. We understand the difficulties of finding quality assisted living services and are trained to compassionately and professionally support the unique needs of everyone in our community. We believe that senior living should grant one the peace to age in place — and we’re happy to provide a safe space, great staff, and essential services to cater to the lifestyle of everyone we serve. </p> <p>Located in the vibrant city of Phoenix, Arizona, we not only provide access to majestic desert scenery but an array of activities and leisure options for residents to enjoy. For example, Arizona Theatre Company is a wonderful place to catch a live show! From great food, fabulous shopping, health and wellness spas, and Vegas-style casinos — residents will never miss out on exciting city living. </p> <h3>Community Amenities and Services</h3> <p>Our compassionate staff are available to assist residents with personal and health care needs. From activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, etc.) to medication reminders, we are thoroughly trained to keep residents safe and comfortable in a homey environment. We are here to rely on, while always supporting your continued independence. </p> <p>Our community is designed to feel like home. We have a small, close-knit amount of people that reside at Magda’s, and we believe this offers great opportunities for residents to make connections and build life-long friendships. And, our smaller community means you have access to one-on-one care from staff that thoroughly understands your particular needs. </p> <h3>Living Options</h3> <p>We currently offer one-bedroom and two-bedroom unit options. Our home is equipped with a communal kitchen and common area, available to residents anytime of the day. Staff is available throughout the day as well to address any time-sensitive needs residents may have.</p> <h3>Care Types Offered</h3> <p>Magda’s Family Home Care is an <em>assisted living home</em> that provides <em>directed care services</em>. In the state of Arizona, these terms are defined as follows: </p> <p><strong>Assisted Living Home</strong><br> A health care institution other than a hospital or a nursing care institution which provides resident beds or residential units, supervisory care services, personal care service, directed care services or health-related services on a continuing basis for ten or fewer persons who do not need inpatient nursing care.</p> <p><strong>Directed Care Services</strong><br> Programs and services, including personal care services, provided to persons who are incapable of recognizing danger, summoning assistance, expressing need, or making basic care decisions.</p> <p><a href="https://azdhs.gov/licensing/index.php?#azcarecheck">Arizona Facility Inspection Reports</a></p>
