Aides do not care about residence. My dad was left in his room all day by himself. Staff does not speak English. Directors are just as clueless. They promise to treat residence as family. I would hate to see how they treat their families. I would NOT recommend to my worst enemy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My question mark for quality if care is because she hasn't needed any personal additional care beyond housekeeping. Medium score on admin is because there has been a massive turnover in admin personnel since we signed the agreement and moved Mom in.

Mattison Crossing appears to be a caring bright place for loved one’s and maybe even to help or work. “Appears” that’s all it is. Management new is just like the old….uncaring and excuses after excuses for bad employees including their head people. Personally I don’t even know where to start really. Take aides for example. You never find them unless there is a tour or free food. Seriously it’s incredible. They sleep or on their phones in residents room hiding! Events! What events! There is a woman who is in charge but never around and when she is extremely loud and obnoxious and starts a game and leaves after 10 minutes saying she’s all by herself. When she walks out saying they are on their own she heads to her office and shuts the door for the remaining time until she walks out for the day. This is all the time! Residents complain about her for months and nothing done. Residents pay a lot of money to be there when is Mattison going to replace and do right by them!!!!

[name removed] and the Team have done a fantastic job caring for our dad with dementia. Another level of care like we had not previously seen. The staff truly shows care for the patient. The facility is resort-like. Highly recommended.

Overall, we (my family and I) are extremely disappointed in the services that my mom is paying for at this facility. I feel we were sold a false bill of goods. However, we have nothing to compare this facility to, so while we are displeased with the services there may be other places that are worse off. There is huge turnover in staff, training needs to be implemented with new staff members on how to do the simplest of things, for example, making a bed, showering a person. Changing sheets on a residents bed is not done on a regular basis, family members have had to step in to take care of that while the resident is paying for that service. Also, there is a language barrier as most new staff members do not speak English and therefore cannot communicate with residents. There is a constant occurrence of a breakdown of equipment, HEAT.. the dining room has been frigid in cold temperatures, making mealtime unpleasant as the food is cold by the time it arrives at the table. In addition, the elevator is now on the list of equipment that is breaking. Residents are either stranded on the first floor and unable to go to their rooms or have to wait for an aide, which is near impossible due to the shortage of staff. The elevator has been breaking down at least twice a week for the past three weeks. There is an onsite temple and a visit from a rabbi each Sabbath for the Jewish residents, while residents of the Christian faith get a virtual service that sometimes is impossible to watch because of the breakdown of equipment. Poor response time when resident presses their tag for assistance.. there have been times where my Mom waited 2 hours for someone to come to her aide. I don't think there is any quality to the care received. The on call podiatrist is rude and un-clean while attending to the care of the patient. Other medical staff persons can also be rude to residents, while a few are pleasant and caring. During the past 14 months, 14 people in key positions have left. Training needs to be implemented to new staff members. The food has improved slightly, but seems to be more geared towards the kosher food style for the residents who are of the Jewish faith. However, it was recently learned that the chef that improved the food is now leaving. Rent was recently increased by $300 per resident and staff has decreased. There is an imbalance in the services and no added value with the increase.

Almost 2 years ago. My dad needed a lot of help as he aged. I brought him to Mattison Crossing. We met with [name removed] who was and is so helpful. Dad went into memory care. This was a great decision. He is so cared for there. With [name removed] She is so attentive and she is amazing. [name removed]. Helps with meals and assists so much with the elderly. There is so much love and caring. [name removed] the nurse. Is attentive and professional. Always keeps us informed. And guides us the downstairs. They watch television. Or listen to music. And lots of interaction. [name removed] upstairs is wonderful and professional and helpful. Sometimes we all need help. This was a great decision Thank you for looking out for my dad and all the people that are cared for there.

Mom likes the facility. My main concern is if my mom is in her room and has an emergency and can’t get to the phone. The call button is not for emergencies and think there should be something in her room in case if an emergency. There are a few concerns with response time when using call button but not all the time. Some aids have limited communication skills. Overall liked facility and location was key for our family.

Our mom moved into Mattison Crossing at a time when her entire world/life had been turned upside down. Previous to Mattison Crossing, mom had been in a rehab facility where little progress had been made, where depression and anxiety sunk in, and where she had been told she would never return to an independent lifestyle. However within a few short weeks with the care and kindness from the entire Mattison Crossing team of caring professionals, mom proved them wrong. She has remarkably returned to an independent lifestyle. At Mattison Crossing mom does not feel as if she is just another resident. While residing here she is warmly greeted, welcomed, and acknowledged by name from administration, staff, and the entire team; she has made new friends, and she takes advantage of the numerous daily activities and services offered. Mattison Crossing is now her new home where she can continue to thrive, flourish, and maintain a positive lease on life!

I had to find a place for my brother. I went to several facilities and new when I went to Mattison Crossing this was the place I wanted him to be. The staff is amazing. Always responds to me when I call. And they contact me if my brother has any changes. Most importantly he has adjusted very well. The staff know all the people there by name and are kind to the people there. The aides are amazing and care for everyone with patience.

The food and activities are good, but we have had some bad experiences with the aides. Not great communication as far as aids and when my mother asks for something she doesn't get it until I follow up a lot of times.

This has been a good choice for my loved one and family. The staff have been quick to respond to any concerns or questions the family has had. I feel very comfortable and safe having my loved one here. The staff is very team oriented and the internal communication is great. They make sure that the director and the aides and nurses are working together to provide the best care possible.

My dad moved in earlier this week, and I can't say enough on how the entire staff has welcomed him to the community and help him get acclimated. The entire Mattison Crossing team has been sincere, responsive, caring and understanding. My dad is a picky eater, but he has said the food is very good. Thank you Mattison Crossing team for what you do.

The staff are caring and loving, and they all go out of their way to make every resident feel at home. They meet my loved one's care needs as promised. It's a very nice facility that has recently been remodeled, so it s up-to-date.

Dad has been here a year. There have been ups and downs however, I'm very happy with the level of care and over all commitment to quality service I have experienced at Mattison Crossing. Dad fell and really needed a place to help him get back to a more independent level of living. He has truly settled in and feels comfortable to call Mattison his home. Staff is lovely and caring. People here are thriving. It's a difficult decision to place your parent in assisted living. I feel fortunate that we chose Mattison Crossing.

They don’t care. They lie. Totally financial driven. food is horrible. Care is is below sub par. Not a place to spend your last years of life
