Since [name removed] and her newly appointed staff have recently assumed management and supervisory positions at the facility, my father is now receiving consistent thorough and compassionate care from all the staff. Turn seems to happen too often. There are a lot of care givers that don't speak English (or pretend they don't). Med techs are wonderful. Food isn't. For me it seems like they can't keep good qualified staff.

The resident care staff are extremely kind and caring but they have recently had a change in the some of the Administration staff and don't get a good vibe from them. The food was not good for quite awhile but is getting better. The large group activities are great but unless they are outside (wonderful area) not very many residents get involved. they have a new activities director so it has gotten better. The facilities are older but clean and comfortable. Most of the residents memory/speaking is quit diminished compared to my mom's. She had a stoke a year before moving her here and that affected her memory and word retrieval. she has improved over the last year and needs more stimulation and less assistance. Hence looking for somewhere else to live

I would definitely give 5 stars across the board. Excellent facility, grateful for the care they provided. [name removed], the director is wonderful. Every person working there treated every resident as a family member. Rooms are very nice. She had a twin bed, dresser and small sink/wash area. Every month they invite families to join the residents for fun gatherings. They have a great salon on site too.

My wife has Been a resident of [facility removed] for the past 8 months, all I have for the staff at this facility is praise, they carry out their duties in very efficient way, they show compassion and efficacy many and are very tender with their charges. The food given to the residents appears to be nutritious and is served in a pleasant way and the resident is not forced to eat, the table is. not left dirt and if they want more staff does everything to fill their wants. The work carried out here is very difficult to do. but staff does it as if it so easy.

The compassionate care in this facility is immeasurable. The caregivers are exceptional! I was always confident in the choices made for my loved one! Although I don’t think he appreciated being away from home!

When it comes to the activities I would've liked to see more in chair exercise like my mom had at assisted living - yoga, Zumba, etc in a chair. We will forever be indebted to our mom's wonderful, caring staff who made her feel at home in memory care. Yes, we would recommend Vacaville Memory Care to other families based on our experience.

Staff is friendly and caring. Like the smaller cottages. More of a home feel than a facility. The activities are ok but not as advertised. The food is not very good at all. My mom complains about it daily.

The staff at Pacifica Senior Living Vacaville are friendly. The housekeeping and the communication with the family are both good. The move in process was super easy. The food is good. There are lots of activities that families can attend. I recommend sewing name labels on clothing or using fabric paint, sharpie fades after a few washes. I would recommend Pacifica Senior Living Vacaville to others.

The staff are kind and attentive which made a great difference when he got more feeble. I never heard impatient or curt conversations with patients. Also having an enclosed area with gardens and gazebo accessible at any time was perfect. Much better than the last place he was at where you had to ask to go out to the sad concrete patio. And they understood dementia better at Pacifica, were more aware and considerate about issues that arise (like his wanting to pack up every other week). Absolutely recommend Pacifica.

They were always helpful and showed a lot of compassion to those staying there. They always called me if there were any concerns. My husband shared a room with another person. The rooms were a good size that met their needs.

Biggest outdoor space available for residents out of all the spaces I toured, lots of music outdoors and indoors, dorm style living with residents assigned to a specific house and the different houses arranged circular on the perimeter of the outdoor space, fairly affordable, bright facility with lots of natural light in their rooms, resident rooms are decent sized, med techs are very caring. Downsides are high turnover with the director, there's been 3 different directors in the last 5 months. When an incident arose, there were not clear policies or procedures in place that were followed, but with advocacy from the family we came to a common acceptable decision

Visited the community with our an appointment and the was welcome by a nice, well presented and friendly lady at the font . Sales person welcomed me right away and with a nice, caring attitude. She explained their services and her 20 plus year of knowledge. . I had no idea that this community is for seniors with dementia only and my dad needs assisted living. I would recommend others to visit if their need is for memory care

The facility does a great job of caring for those who need help due to dementia or elders with other special needs. My husband has Alzheimer’s and needs full my time care. From the moment he first arrived at Pacifica Senior Living, they worked to make him feel at home. It a a beautiful setting, with lovely outdoor areas the residents can safely use. The resident buildings feel very home-like. Meals are delicious, and there are plenty of snacks and drinks all day. The staff is always having special events and things to do for the residents to keep them healthy and happy. I love it!

I have to say this community is absolutely wonderful. The care and love they show to their residents is incredible! The employees are always happy when I stop by and always with a smile on their face. I love the way they interact with residents and families as they truly do care about your loved ones. Initially, the salesperson [name removed] at Pacifica Senior Living Vacaville contacted me and was very friendly. She answered all of my questions, about both financial and care. I made arrangements to take a tour and was so impressed with the cleanliness of the place. We met with some of the staff and were able to see how they interacted with the residents. All of which were positive. The move in process went seamlessly. The only thing I would recommend is that the staff should go over the room to be sure it is ready for the next person. A quick sweeping and mopping, as well as double checking the area. I found items in my loved one's room that belonged to the previous tenant. From what I have seen, the meals looked appetizing and plenty enough. I would definitely recommend this place to others. Also, my family flew in from Hawaii and the east coast to visit. The feedback was positive.
