Would recommend, keeping in mind the current state of transition.

Cedarhurst is now Primrose. It's a property In transition, and I've only been here for four months, so I can't pass a-lot of judgment. Presently the food is not great, and they are short of help. But I'm very grateful for the friendly, hard working staff, and I have developed some truly great friendships.

tour review

Our family had an in person tour and it was just not a good experience at all, it did not give us a good first impression. The community was dirty and it felt like a nickel and dime. If we wanted a slight discount for our loved one we had to bring a second new residents with us which we did not like.

Our experience

When we first went to look and visit, the sales coordinator was amazing. The tour was great and everything was wonderful, we were made a lot of promises. When they moved in, the coordinator had moved on and the move in experience was not of the level that she would have provided us. My loves ones biggest complaint is they are told dinner is 5:30-7, but if they go down at 6 there is no one there. There have been other times I have been there between that time and the dining room is completely dark. The staff we made connections with at the beginning are not there anymore. The nursing and everyday staff have been great and the building itself and the rooms are beautiful.

Cedarhurst & Mom

I feel that for the level of care my mother requires we are receiving excellent care. Every facility has turn over, but Cedarhurst maintains a qualified staff.

Best care

It takes about a month for the staff and the resident to work out of their schedule. After that it is smooth sailing.

Cedarhurst.....a great place to call home.

Cedarhurst is a friendly, caring community. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and put the residents needs first. The residents welcome their new neighbors and watch out for each other, and help them adjust to their new home. Because of these qualities, my 100 year old mother is happy and has become a social butterfly. The numerous and varied activites, and socials keep her engaged and has enabled her to make many new friends. The food service allows for personal preferences and because the dining experience is social too, I know my mom is getting the nutrition she needs. I would recommend Cedarhurst without hesitation or reservation.
