Great facility with quality care

Only 2 comments. The house we use (Yukon House) is a lovely large house, but fairly dated. It is kept very clean, but there are areas that need attention and updating (like broken bath vanity, but my father in law doesn't use the bathroom anyway). Also, the house really "closes down" after about 6 pm. Residents go to be and caregivers go downstairs. There is not a call system for residents to get nighttime help. Staff and management are very caring people.

A Gem of a Caregiver

Great care, helpful, and excellent attention to the people. Helpful and caring staff. We picked this community, because [name removed] seemed like she would be the most helpful in caring for my dad, and she was, she was very concerned of his well being.

Highly recommended; personalized care tailored to the individual resident's needs.

The owners and management are extremely responsive and attentive to the requests of the family on behalf of the residents. In our situation, our family member is 96 years old, wheelchair bound, with dementia. He cannot manage anything on his own with the exception of feeding himself. The staff are so attentive and ensure all of his needs are met. They are very kind and gentle. The health and safety of residents is clearly a high priority. Communication is prompt and flows easily.

We visited 2 homes with [name removed] as our guide. The homes are located in nice neighborhoods and are clean, tidy, homey and appear to be run well. The residents seem to enjoy their lives in both homes. [Name removed] is a caring, compassionate and engaged owner.

I took a tour!

We had never thought of residential care prior to touring Rose of Sharon. Touring was a good experience, the home was clean and maintained well, and the people were all ver friendly. I just don't think my father would have been comfortable.

extremely wonderful

This facility is great. They have been extremely wonderful. They have been willing to work with her even though she is a little further beyond assisted care. They have said they will keep her until she passes. I am really appreciative of them. They have been very kind and sweet.
