Very nice residence. Food, a disappointment.

The retirement home is very nice, staff are friendly as are the residents. The suites are nice and there are many activities. The housekeeping service is very good. Unfortunately, the food brings the score down. Breakfast is fine, and lunch is okay. Dinners are not very good. Food is prepared quite some time prior to dinner time. So, it is often times not very hot, and it can be dried out or soggy. My Dad sometimes complains that he doesn't get enough to eat and that meals often times don't include a vegetable. If the food could be improved, that would make a very positive difference. Retirement homes are quite expensive, and when paying this amount of money, one should expect the food to be of a very high caliber.
