Beyond expectation!

I cannot begin to say enough incredible things about The Shannon Gray, from the front desk staff to the cleaning staff. Everyone is friendly, knows your name, and really cares about the residents and their families! The continuity of care is amazing - the nursing staff and the CNAs communicate with one another and pass down information from shift to shift. That, in itself, is priceless. The administrator is down to earth and very approachable. We moved our mother there is February 2023 from a terrible memory care facility, in mid-March we thought our mom was at end of life. However, through the grace of God and the nursing staff at The Shannon Gray, they took her off all these unnecessary, sedating drugs, and our mom is thriving, gaining weight, much more lucid, keeping us laughing with her humor, feeding herself. OUR MOM IS BACK, as much as her dementia will allow. Please consider The Shannon Gray for your loved ones. You won't regret it!

The one star reviews are correct for the rehab side

I was sent her for rehab after surgery and at first when I read other reviews I thought it can't be that bad. Well it may be a good nursing home but it's terrible as a rehab facility. I went for three days before I decided it was not good for me to be there. Only when I asked to leave did a therapist finally come to do physical therapy. They did evaluate me on the second day but did nothing else except tell me to use a wheelchair if I left the bed. I also an a diabetic and never got a single diabetic meal, they brought me sweet tea and desserts with my meals that I couldn't eat. Most of the time with just a few exceptions I always had to have my mom try and find a nurse because they didn't answer the call button. They kept sending in the maintenance man saying my call button was broken but he always says he could never find anything wrong with it. And there was someone who kept coming into my room insisting that I leave because I was in his room, and having such a hard time calling for someone made it worse because I had no idea why this person kept coming into my room with his wheelchair and start going through the drawers. There were one or two nurses that did a good job but they were they exception.

The True Story after 7pm....

Our family has a love one who is resident at Shannon Gray Rehabilitation Center. The CNA'S on 3rd shift are very lazy. So if you have family or a love one at this facility please make time and check on them after 7pm it will really tell you the true story of Shannon Gray Rehabilitation Center. People who are given this facility a five star have to be a staff or administrator for Shannon Gray Rehabilitation Center...

I really liked this place, it is a neat place.

I really liked this place, it is a neat place. It had Hydro therapy and would have been a great option. It was beautiful and had a lot of really cool things that they offered.
