This independent living community features a neighborhood-like feel with updated interiors and homey decor that emulate a familiar, comforting environment for residents.
To simplify residents’ responsibilities so they can focus on their interests, Solstice Senior Living at Mesa View offers a variety of services including scheduled transportation, weekly housekeeping, emergency call systems, 24-hour access to urgent care through telehealth services, and personalized in-home assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). Mix of positive and negative
They just have one very old elevator. All the residents dis-satisfied with the single, ancient, rickety elevator. I do think that they could use way more gardens, particularly raised beds, to get those old geezers outside! I do absolutely love that they welcome dogs!

Happiness at Mesa View
I arrived at Mesa View summer of '22. I looked at a couple of places here in GJ but after touring here it was easy to decide to live here! [name removed] was so helpful as I moved in. The staff here are always so friendly! Leaving my home of 49 years was hard but Mesa View is great!

The staff is extremely helpful & friendly. I enjoy many of the activities and entertainment provided. The only negative is my need for a special diet which is difficult for the kitchen to provide on a daily basis.

So happy to be here
We moved my grandma into Mesa View 3 months ago. Before that she lived alone in her house. She was unsure about moving and leaving the home she knew and loved. The staff and residents at Mesa View have made her feel so welcome and comfortable. She has made friends and loves her little apartment. She is more active and engaged and looks forward to meal times and visiting with friends. Grandma and my family highly recommend Mesa View.

Awesome
Everyone is really friendly and it feels like home. They have a lot of activities like corn hole baseball, card games. My loved one is teaching the others how to play poker and they also have treasure hunts.

It's Been Great
It's all gone fairly well. I would like to see more activities, and I think they ought to be able to bus them more places and get them out and doing a little more. I know a lot of that is related to Covid having their hands kind of tied. So as things open up more, I think things will be better. They did have a big barbecue for everybody recently. The staff I met have been alright. They just seemed kind of busy. And they haven't been fully open for us to meet everybody just yet. It seems to be clean overall, but I think things could be maintained a little better. When I visit my loved one, I have no complaints about her apartment or the hallways on the way there.

It has been a very good experience at Mesa View, and I would highly recommend
Covid has changed things a bit, they have had to close down the dining halls, they have to package the food and deliver to each room which they do pretty good at it just takes longer. They still offer good activities while maintaining social distancing and wearing masks.

Outdated facility and not a lot of active residents
I toured here when looking for a place for my mother-in-law and we visited during lunch time on a day where the shuttle was out with the more active guests. My mother-in-law didn’t like it because everyone looked like they were in a nursing home. She thought everyone looked too sedentary. The facility wasn’t that bright and cheery and it was older so there was more wear and tear. The lady that we talked to was very nice and helpful. She had lunch with us and talked to us about the facility and answered all of the questions we had.

I toured Mesa View while looking for living options for my father. I liked that this community was close by, that the staff was very helpful, and that is had a homey, comfortable feel. However, I found that it was smaller and a little expensive, so we ultimately chose another community.

Very Positive Experience
Mom seems to be doing pretty well since we moved her. It has been a big adjustment for her and she is slowly starting to adjust. She really likes her little apartment she is content and comfortable in there. She finds the staff and all the residents to be very polite and friendly. The location of the community is perfect it's the only building on the street and it's only about 2 blocks from the hospital. Mom loves the food here very good. I would recommend this community.
