Home for over a year
Springvale has been my home for over a year now. I have made new friends, have a nice apartment with a sliding door to walk outside, and I have my favorite things from home. I enjoy the entertainment, bingo and attend the Church services they have here. The food is good, staff is very friendly, and I have met some new friends.

My husband and I recently moved in and couldn't be happier! We had toured Springvale last fall and unfortunately chose another community, only to find out they where not the quality, caring, beautiful facility as Springvale. We were so excited to move in, and have a beautiful apartment on the courtyard. The food is pretty good, and the staff are kind and friendly.

I have a nice studio apartment that is close to the dining room. I like to sit in the main living room to watch the television. I have met some nice people and enjoy listening to the entertainment they have.

The staff is nice . They deal well my mom who can be a handful sometimes . They get her out for activities. The place always looks clean . They have family events which are fun. Overall I've been happy with them.

Springval is a very caring family friendly home . Both my parents were residents there , my dad was there for 6 months but my mom was there for a year. The facility is always clean and the staff are very friendly, caring , kind and put their hearts into this place . They were so good to both my parents . I always felt my parents were safe there and well cared for . They have lots of activities and family involved parties multiple times a year . I highly recommend this facility!!!

Springvale is a very nice place. I like the roast beef and mashed potatoes, desserts are very good too. Care staff are very kind, and genuine. I really like the Life Enrichment gal, [name removed]. I like that they have a close bathroom to the living room so I don’t have to walk back to my apartment. I like Springvale and all the people I know.

Springvale is a very nice building. I like my apartment, it has a nice patio so I can sit outside and enjoy the sun. The staff are nice, and the food is good. I am meeting new friends and learned how to play a new card game.

The facility is really nice and large and open so that the residents have plenty of room to go for walks. The facility could use some updates such as carpet for a re-fresh. The staff is always super nice and very helpful and caring. By far the biggest weakness for Springvale is the quality of the food service.

I like my apartment it has a patio I can put my own plants outside. My bedroom is nice and big. The staff are nice and kind, always helpful. The food is good, I enjoy the desserts apple pie is my favorite. I enjoy sitting outside in the summer with my friends.

Quality of service very poor, overall experience 1, friendliness3,care at times poor, administrative staff1,does not cooperate with complaints, food 3, activities3,value for the money 1 to expensive for the care. The longer a person stays the worse the care. The cooperation of administrative staff is ridiculous. At this point I would not refer someone to this facility

Springvale is a wonderful place, they have kind, caring staff, wonderful food, and fun activities. We enjoy the big Courtyards for our loved one to walk in, and they have boxed gardens for summer vegetables.

The apartments are roomy, I have a patio to go out on. The apartments are kept very clean. The staff are very kind, [name removed] and [name removed] were always there to take care of any problems I had, they are very kind. I enjoyed the ride around town by the golf course. Very nice place.

When looking for a memory care facility to place my sister [name removed], previously in assisted living, I visited 9 facilities in the Genesee county area. When I narrowed it down to 2, I re-visited both. I had the opportunity to meet with the director of wellness at Springvale. When I sat down with her and talked about my sister, she took a lot of notes as we discussed [name removed]. She was actually building a care plan. We reviewed the care plan down to the smallest details. I was so impressed I knew Springvale was where [name removed] needed to be. The culinary staff prepared meals that were diabetic friendly and gluten free. They also prepared them in a way that was easy for [name removed] to eat in her deteriorating condition. The staff encouraged her to eat and ensured that she did. This was a problem at her previous facility, and was never a problem at Springvale. The staff have been great providing care for my mom. They engaged her at the level she was able and kept her involved in the daily activities. Now that she has moved to the memory care unit, she doesn't have as many field trips as before. But the staff still comes up with creative activities to get the residents involved and active. The facility at SpringVale has always been very clean and the food quality quite good. They did a great job with the Christmas party/ dinner!

I typically do not leave reviews but felt compelled to respond about the care that is given by Springvale Assisted Living and Memory Care staff. It was with heavy hearts that our family made the decision to place my father-in-law in assisted living. It is a decision we have never regretted. The staff at Springvale Assisted Living exceeded our expectations. They treat dad with respect and honor. The facility is clean and has great food and the staff is willing to work around special needs. An example of extraordinary care and love was when dad turned 100, they asked him what he would like to do again if possible. Dad replied, “to go flying again”. The staff made it happen. This is the reason I felt compelled to leave a review. Such exceptional professional care should be recognized. I personally want to thank every staff member at Springvale Assisted Living and Memory Care for their love towards the elderly of our community.

The staff here is fantastic. No complaints about anything. They always have something for the residents to do and the staff helps with the residents to keep them involved. The dinners they have at Thanksgiving and Christmas are great. They have plenty of activities in the summer that get the residents outside. The Field trios look like a lot of fun and they have plenty of them also. All in All, I would recommend this place to anyone. My Loved one loves it here.

I like being here, I like my apt. Staff are very kind and caring. They entertainment is good they have live singers. I like the friends I have meet I have a friend that lives here as well. The dessert are really good.
