My mother is a resident at Francis. St. Francis is a very nice place. It’s in a great neighborhood. It’s a clean home. The food is good. I feel comfortable with the help and the facility. I feel my mother is getting good care and she is safe. I think my mother is happy, or at least content. Raymond, the owner is very nice and personable. Always talkative and friendly. Doesn’t rush you in or out. I would totally recommend St. Francis [name removed] daughter of [name removed].

Absolutely perfect in our time of need.

Unbeknownst to us, my dad was diagnosed with dementia while in the hospital for another issue and his previous assisted living facility denied his return. We had three days to find him a new place to live and in the midst of that craziness, a Place for Mom found us St Francis Home Care. [name removed] and his team have been absolutely amazing. It’s such a huge relief that my dad is getting the best care possible. [name removed] is a great communicator, very supportive, very proactive, and very knowledgeable in the field of assisted living. His team takes great care of the facility, keeping it spotless and impressive and they work incredibly well with the residents. It’s perfect for my dad who has slowed down quite a bit and it’s so nice that all we need to focus on now is spending quality time with him. I truly believe we found my dad the perfect home in St Francis.

My Mom feels at home here

I found St Francis Home Care through A Place for Mom and I couldn't be happier. that was several years ago and they have taken care of her so well. We visit her regularly and she's always comfortable. She gets fed well, they give meds. Mom is always well-dressed, clean and has a schedule that suits her needs. I can't say enough good things about the owner and the staff at this Board and Care except we don't ever plan to move her. We were at another Board and Care near here for part of a year before this and that was no way close to the quality of this home. The doors here are alarmed for safety. safety is a priority here always. the home is clean, well decorated , there is a very nice backyard and patio for gathering with a group. we feel very fortunate that we were able to get in here and make Mom comfortable and make sure she is well cared for. she has dementia and requires care at all times of the day and night. there have never been any problems with that here.

A Little Further Away Then I Wanted

This was a very nice group home. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The house appeared to be clean and kept nice. The location was a little further than what I was looking for. I think they offered some activities but not many. I was looking for a community that was homey but not overly furnished or a lot of clutter. From the limited time I was there, I found the staff to be nice and friendly.

The Right Fir For My Dad

The staff are all caring and loving. The home is clean very well. Any considerations we have we address with the director. We are all on the same page about clear communication. There aren't many activities and that is okay for my dad. Some residents have activities set up for them. There is a small group of residents living here. We have requested hot meals for my dad since he loves meal served hot. They are very accommodating with my dad. Once I walked in, I knew they were the place.

Negative experience.

I researched this facility on the county site before touring and they had three citations. I decided to tour them anyways. I was very unimpressed. The interaction seemed very cold and business like. The facility was also overly religious and my family is not very religious.

Mom feels at home here!!

The people at this care home are amazing. The owner and the staff have been together a long time and they are consistent. They are great at keeping me informed of my mom's care. They make homemade food and it tastes good. They keep the home clean and I would highly recommend it. They do their nails and the experience has been better than at a larger community. I wish I had found this home sooner.
