Our assisted living care is perfect for seniors looking to retain as much independence as possible, while still receiving an extra helping hand in completing daily tasks of living. Our memory care is ideal for people with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory-related conditions — for all who would benefit from around-the-clock supervision. We also specialize in providing diabetic care, incontinence care, and medication management. A variety of doctors and nurses are also available to assist residents on-site.</p>
<p>Residents enjoy three chef-prepared meals each day, and we aim to provide a mix of comfort food and international cuisine, to always make mealtimes an adventure. We are happy to accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions in our restaurant-style dining room. Have a guest visiting? They can stay for meals, too!</p>
<p>In between meal times, take a rest in one of our indoor or outdoor common areas, or participate in our packed activities calendar! With so many things to do, from yoga, happy hour, karaoke, art classes, religious services, gardening, and more — you’re bound to find exciting things to do! <p>Our residents can choose between spacious studio or two-bedroom apartments. All of our units are equipped with refrigerators, microwaves, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, wheelchair-accessible showers, and an emergency call system. Enjoy the bright Texas sun shining in through the windows in the mornings, read a book, take a rest, just enjoy life at Stone Brook Assisted Living and Memory Care.</p>

<h3>Care Types Offered</h3>
<p>Stone Brook Assisted Living and Memory Care is a Type B assisted living facility. In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows:</p>
<p><strong>Assisted Living Facility</strong></p>
<p>A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities:</p>
<p><u>Type A</u>: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted.<br>
<u>Type B</u>: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair.<br>
<u>Type C (Adult Foster Care)</u>: 4-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. The facility provides supervision and personal care services to residents.</p>
