They knew what we were going through and talked us all the way through it. The house was warm and comfortable, I felt at ease leaving Dad there. Way easier than expected! The staff was there to help with whatever we needed. The coordinator that came to the house was excellent also, we knew exactly what we were getting into. Communication was great, text messages were responded to quickly. I don't have any complaints. This facility was the help we needed and a great place for Dad. The facility was remodeled in 2011 to accomodate the needs of elderly persons seeking a home-like atmosphere and help with daily activities. The facility officially opened in May of 2011 and can house six live-in residents and six adult daycare residents. Currently, Stratford Home is not part of a chain but independently owned. 24-hour licensed staff are available to help with any task an elderly person may have trouble doing alone. The mission of Stratford Home is to provide safe and efficient patient-centered care while attaining respect and dignity for each resident. The smaller setting at Stratford Home allows patients to receive more individualized care while also creating a 'family' like atmosphere for not only residents but for staff and family members as well.
