Nice Care Home in Thousand Oaks

Sudi is very accommodating and offers highly personalized care for all her residents. Everyone is like family. The food is cooked from scratch and your loved one will benefit from all the TLC. Sudi will also arrange for all your loved ones needs be it home health care visits, which she routinely offers twice a week), special dietary needs; transportation; Physical Therapy; hospice, etc. This is a happy home and the views from her backyard of the Conejo Valley are spectacular!!!! A must see.

How to minimize falls for a place for Mom

The whole set up of RCFEs is good for most ambulant persons but not for non-ambulant and frail people. Patients that need 24/7 supervision do not get their needs met by 2 people who supervise 6 persons. However, if the beds in the rooms were set up with guard rails and alarms, and possibly hospital beds, then issues, such as falls may be minimized. Falls are the number 1 concern for the loved one. Statistics show that they are on the rise. If A Place for Mom,(at the request of the family placing the loved one), had required guard rails and alarms on the beds, one can minimize the agonies for the patients. My Mom's experience was not a good one. She suffered a fall the first full day at Sudi Care, This recommendation should be part of the app. for the home.
