Beautiful place, but every expensive
The sunrise community has been wonderful! The place is filled with light and painted in beautiful yellows. Very bright and happy. The problem is the cost. It's proving to be an unsustainable cost, more than what was predicted when we decided on Sunrise. We may have to move Mom into a smaller apartment.

My mother, who recently passed away, was a resident of this place, solely because of the glowing reviews this place somehow received. Then [name removed], being the typical saleswoman that she is, sold my sister and my father on moving her in. However, once my mother was moved in, we, her family, soon enough got a rude awakening after the week-long honeymoon period. This place is overrated and definitely not worth the outrageous amount of money they charge. The admin staff is absolute garbage, specifically the very rude, disrespectful, childish, and unprofessional [name removed] (the VOLUNTEER activities director). I also am not a fan of [name removed] (the person who allegedly runs things there), [name removed](activity staff person), [name removed] (the care coordinator of the floor my mother was on), [name removed] (the saleswoman), and others in the activities admin staff. I would hate to think that the Sunrise administration's (and a couple of the staff members') microaggressions and unpleasant, immature

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude and appreciation for your role in finding Sunrise for our family. Exactly one year ago, we were facing a difficult situation with my father's health, and we were unsure of his future. However, with your help, we discovered Sunrise, and it has been a transformative experience for him. He has gone from requiring a wheelchair and oxygen to thriving, and is now able to walk with a walker. He has also become an integral part of community activities, such as bingo, exercise classes, game nights, and other social events. The staff at Sunrise truly go above and beyond to create a family atmosphere, and the nursing and tech staff provide excellent care for all residents. My father is particularly fond of the meal options and enjoys spending time with his friends in the dining room. We are so pleased to see my father happy, thriving, and forming meaningful connections with the other residents and staff. Your efforts in connecting us with Sunrise have made a significant difference in his life, and we are grateful for your support. Thank you again for your help in finding the perfect community for my father.

We moved her in [date removed] to Henderson Nevada and she is being taken care of and thriving here! They are amazing it's sunrise of Henderson. My mom has been in 5 different assisted living memory care and sunrise by far it absolutely the BEST!

Staff and management are very responsive to questions and requests. Overall, if your loved one needs to be in a facility, I can't imagine one that would instill more comfort and confidence.

The staff is very friendly and respectful. I recommend the location. They sometimes miss the mark on dietary restrictions even after I have advised them of mistakes. The parking lot is too small, unfortunately and that sometimes is a pain because there is no other nearby parking. But that's not a reflection on the operations.

What we really liked about the Sunrise of Henderson community is that the staff helped my mother in law very well & were great until the very end when she passed.

The staff was wonderful to my mom and to me in dealing with a very difficult second husband (after he left my mom when she was diagnosed with dementia) and his niece. The staff went out of their way to make the situation as stress-free as possible. The care my mom received was wonderful. I would highly recommend this place to any friends needing care for their loved ones.

I’m very grateful for this facility. They made my mother’s stay very comfortable and the staff was very caring. They responded to my mother’s needs, until her passing. They were always very gracious and thoughtful. I just hope I can have the same in my last years. Thanks to all the staff at Sunrise Manor, I would give them million star review, if possible.

My parents were scheduled to move in when my father passed away. I moved my mother in after looking at several other options and decided Sunrise was the best fit. I am very pleased with that decision. Mom loves living at Sunrise. She looks better now than when she moved in. It is my hope that she can remain at Sunrise for as long as possible.

Sunrise of Henderson has a very caring and hands on team. The Executive Director and her team of well qualified management team are a special bunch , and very knowledgeable, loving, and caring. The entire staff are very attentive to their residents’ needs as well as family member's. My husband is currently residing at Sunrise of Henderson and receives amazing care. I would highly recommend Sunrise of Henderson if you are looking to find the most loving care for your loved one. Trust me you won’t regret it.

Overall we are very pleased, the food could be better! The Activities are okay. My Mom is really bored since my Dad passed. She is on the 3rd floor, which is for memory care. When my Mom and Dad were on the 2nd floor, they were probably the worst of the bunch. So they moved them to the 3rd floor, which was appropriate for their needs. Now that my Dad has passed, my Mom seems to have improved and she is now probably doing better than any of the others up there. The staff has been talking about getting her included in some of the activities downstairs such as the bridge group. If that happens? She would be very happy! She is just bored and other than staff. Not many to communicate with on the 3rd floor. If they get her involved with some activities on the 2nd floor, like (they are talking about). She would be much happier. The food was better at Merrill Gardens! Actually, much better! Especially on the 3rd floor! Other than that, we are all very pleased.

So I have been very satisfied with the friendliness of staff, good channels of communication, clean and neat, good quality of care and willingness to try various strategies to solve issues that may arise. Food is adequate but a little bland like most institutional food due to lack of salt. Since this is the only experience I've had, and [name removed] has only been there a few months, I don't really know what to compare it to. Cost is high but comparable to other similar facilities in the area. Very nice community with compassionate and caring staff. I would definitely recommend Sunrise Senior Living to anyone who finds themselves in need of a comfortable safe place for themselves or their loved ones.

Sunrise of Henderson staff is very friendly and respectful to all of the families and residents. Everyone is willing to help each other and make the residents feel right at home. The building is very clean and looks amazing.
