A nice community with a caring staff.
Tricky, 4 is not enough but 5 may be too much. I would have to give them a 5 for all categories. The staff does a great job as does the management. Very clean and the food is good. We have had no problems. The patient is in memory care so some activities are limited. She seems to be well taken care of and is not neglected. Thank you!

I wasn't quite prepared for a short-term rehab stay, as physical therapy and daily routines like laundry and showers didn't always run as scheduled. That said, the food was very good, and with some adjustments, the experience could be much smoother.

My mom loves Terra Bella. She enjoys the company from other residents and the things in activities that they do. My only issue is, every time I visit her. There's no toilet paper in her room, she's always wet with no adult pull up on, and although they wash her clothes two times per week, she seems to have no clean clothes. She arrived with about 15 pairs of pant, and now we can only find a few. It seems they have been mixed up with other residents, or just lost.

My family member no longer resides ar TerraBella. Management is unqualified to be an administrator for this facility. Many requests were made as simple as having maintenance hang pictures to being told at dinner she could not have tea because the kitchen ran out of clean glasses! Diet had to be specialized but little effort was made to comply resulting in poor nutritional value. Family member literally lived on Ensure which was another out-of-pocket expense. Cannot and will not recommend this Assistant Living.

The Head administrator is excellent. The Aides are friendly and willing to go the extra mile for the residents. I would recommend this place to others especially since there are not many openings in our area for a memory care facility.

Not enough staff and the staff they have are overworked. Laundry never done unless I specifically asked for it to be done and ruined my mom's comforter. But that's minor. She got the flu while there and no one ever mentioned to me that it was rampant there. I was there every day and not word was mentioned. The nurse is not responsive. Had to take my own covid test for my mom to be tested as all of theirs were expired! Turned out it was negative but no one ever thought to say maybe she has the flu. It was an act of congress to get a urine sample done to take to her doctor for testing. She did have a UTI. After taking my mother to the doctor and getting the flu diagnosis, I wanted to talk to the nurse when I took mother back there. She was ready to leave, and just wanted me to leave the papers I had from the Dr on the cart. When I insisted to talk to her she rolled her eyes at me. Finally got my mother out of there after three months and she never recovered. She passed away three months later.

My mother has overall been very satisfied. She enjoys the variety of activities they have. She likes the breakfast and lot, but has not been as satisfied with the other meals.

The staff turnover was a concern. They knew dad needed assistance in the bathroom but pitched a fit about helping him. When he went to the hospital for an unrelated issue, they refused to bring him back. The staff was just terrible. Dad was there 2 weeks before being readmitted, then he was nor allowed back because of mobility,which was better than when he first got there. I'd say they are after the "community fee" and looking for residents who are 100% independent not needing some help which dad did

I am not pleased with the fact that the administrative staff changed my Mom's rental fee without notifying me. 3 months later I received a "past due notice" informing me that I owe money from 3 months ago . They had already accepted all of my checks for those 3 months and never said a word about being insufficient. They also changed my Mom's "level of care " without informing me. I am very disappointed.

1 for food no restrictions on diabetics diet my friend in Terra Bella is diabetic and has gained 200 pounds in 1year they give her as much of all foods as she wants no restrictions on anything. It's no place for diabetics no physical activities just bingo and candy if you win go figure I went in one day and was watching tv in the lobby with my friend there was another woman in a wheel chair seemingly asleep her son came to see her and she was sitting there dead how long nobody knew rooms are sufficient

"Schedules" were haphazard- days to have ... rooms cleaned showers given laundry done. Food - adequate to good most days. Outstanding from time to time. Residents - content and friendly. Often. delightful. Location - my primary concern - close to Spartanburg businesses and residences, etc.

I must first say that everything was great until the management changed in [date removed]. Following the death of my father in June, I chose to take my Mom to my home and she died in April of this year. I would rate everything a 4-5 prior to that management change. After that much of the staff left, meals were not very good, cleaning became part of the caregivers duties which were already short staffed. For all of those reasons, the facility was no longer somewhere I wanted my Mom to be.

My father-in-law passed away he was only there a year. It really was an excellent place. Pop really liked the residents and the staff there. They took excellent care of him right up until the end.

My mother has been at TerraBella Spartanburg about 3 months. She loves the activities and the staff. She has enjoyed some of the outings where she went out to eat. She has not gone on any of the shopping outings, but I hear they are popular

We had issue with some of the staff and then found out they were asked to leave based on the things we communicated. 80% of the staff was wonderful, friendly and dedicated. The accommodations in memory care were spare for safety reasons. There was also alot of turnover in cooking staff. Food was wonderful to mediocre depending on the chef.

The only reason the overall experience got a 4 star rating is due to the small room size and my loved ones recliner will not fit. We chose this facility because of the price as well as the location. Staff is very helpful and the facility is clean and smells clean. I would highly recommend Terrabella Spartanburg

The staff at TerraBella Spartanburg are friendly, but overworked. The administration does not seem to know the staff well. They do not listen to the staff when it comes to resident care and seem, themselves, ignorant of the needs of the residents and the staff. In all of my visits, I never saw the residents engaged in an activity. The therapists (physical, occupational and speech therapists) are, in my experience, kind, communicative and good at their jobs.
