It's a Nice Place to Live

It is ok and it is a pretty nice place to live. I like the apartment and the size is good for me. The convenience of everything around the area is good. There is a library, entertainment area, little gym available, convenience of a washer and dryer in unit or available on site is great.

Nice people, poorly managed and dirty

Residents are mostly very nice. But the building is poorly managed. No one does any real housekeeping. The trash is allowed to mount up, carpets go I vacuumed, spills are left to stain carpeting and the outside seating area is dusty and dirty. I have spoken with management and written letters to upper management which have gone unanswered.

Highly recommended

I've been a resident since the building first opened and have been very comfortable and happy here. My apartment is attractive and has room for everything that I need, even though it's fairly small. The kitchen is bright and well-equipped with ample counter and cupboard space. The bathroom is also spacious with plenty of room to accomodate pets. The negative? The closets are a little small and there is no storage area. The building is quiet and the neighborhood is generally quiet as well. The importance of this can not be overstated since unwelcome noise can ruin a living environment, no matter how attractive it is. The staff have been consistently pleasant and helpful and maintenance requests are usually handled within a reasonable time. The public areas of the building are attractive and well kept up. The landscaping is very nicely done and the grounds are spacious and adjacent to a woods where I've taken many enjoyable walks. My major concern is that I'm not sure how safe the neighborhood is, as some nearby areas do look a bit iffy. I have not made regular use of the building's many amenities and activities other than the fitness center, although there have been times when the public computers and snack machines have come in very useful. I do know that there is a genuine effort made to create a sense of community here and that the other tenants I've met have all been very friendly. One thing that I do wish is that the building was located in a part of town where there was more to do and public transportation was closer and more extensive. Generally, however, I think this place is a real gem, especially since the rents are so reasonable.

Seems like a great place

Seems like a great place. Unsure of the number of activities available to seniors, however, but I'm hopeful. Everyone I spoke with really enjoyed living here.

Definitely NOT. It's a love...

Definitely NOT. It's a lovely new facility in a really uncomfortable neighborhood. I would not walk my dog in the neighborhood day or night!

Fabulous community!

This place is absolutely fabulous. I'd rate them higher than 5 on every category if I could! I can't believe we didn't try moving someplace like this years ago, it's been wonderful so far! Everyone here is so nice, and they're always willing to help or answer any questions you might have. It's a brand new facility, but they are filling up fast!
