Good therapy department

Highlands was a great place for my friends mother. Choosing was difficult for my friend, but after taking a tour, she chose this facility. If you have doubts , I say go by and take a tour to see if this is the right place for your family member. My friends mom was able to take PT and go back home stronger!

Compassionate and caring staff

My loved one was only here a short time before she passed, but they did a great job keeping her comfortable and helping our family through the whole process. On the night that she passed they handled everything so compassionately, they had her moved to a room that was large enough that the whole family could be there with her comfortably in the end.

It's a nightmare! Don't ever send anyone there.

It's a nightmare! Don't ever send anyone there. They told me she would never get better and that she would be in a nursing home for the rest of her life. It was like they didn't even want to try to make her better. It was horrible, we moved her and she is now about a week from going back to independent living. It really seemed like they were just trying fill beds, instead of being there to rehabilitate people.
