Review for The Osborn

It is close to home. Dad took mom there weekly for concerts for several years. Some of his clients came to his beauty shop from The Osborn. It was a familiar place, known to be top of the line. A large and beautiful apartment facing the gardens was available. In general, the staff is lovely and accommodating and attentive. My dad tells me every day how much he likes and appreciates the Osborn. Sometimes there are glitches, but they are small. He passed the "driving test" and uses both his walker and a motorized wheelchair. The wheelchair allows Dad to attend activities in the Independent Living section of the 56 acre complex as well as in the Assisted Living section. He chooses to have breakfast in his room daily and eats with other residents for lunch and dinner. Dad adds additional seasoning to his meals, but is happy with the food choices. He attends all classical concerts, and especially enjoys "News and Views", a current events forum attended on Monday mornings. He even goes to exercise classes twice a week. My father is pleased to have made new friends.
