The facility is very pleasant and dad loves it! I think the most outstanding thing is the delicious food and lovely dining room. The staff are very friendly. Dad's apartment is quite large and comfortable. He has a single with an office. They have an exercise room that Dad enjoys. Washer dryer in every room is fantastic

The food is very good but the wait time has become an issue as they have less dining staff than in the past. Would be nice if they offered more outings to the arts. Also working on building maintenance is an issue. Beautiful building and typical upkeep but when something needs repair to the building g it's taking a long time such as exterior painting and fixing the garage elevator.

Mom, a native Houstonian, has lived comfortably at The Villages at Tanglewood for a year now. The casual and friendly atmosphere matches how she lived in her prior home of 20 years making the transition to independent living easier. The staff are accommodating and kind. She is still mentally and physically active and what the Villages at Tanglewood do not provide, the YMCA across the street does. When my husband and I visit from Austin, we actually stay on site in one of the apartments reserved for family guests. The food is so good, we happily eat in the restaurant where the wait staff are attentive and friendly. This is a safe and happy place for Mom.

It's wonderful. I would recommend it, definitely. It's also a beautiful facility. The food is so good. That alone makes it worth it! We picked this community because of the location, price, amenities and floor plan of apartment. And the food is wonderful.

It is a beautiful community with very friendly residents and the people who work there are also very nice and attentive. It's a good location also for people who want to have access to events downtown such as musicals, symphony, plays, etc. Their activity schedule includes so many things like this that are built into the regular schedule. We were very impressed with everything. We picked this community because, of the cleanliness, it was friendly, and a beautiful place. We also really like that there is a very comfortable and accessible main congregating area for residents.

We chose Village of Tanglewood because it had a better feel to it. It is in a neighborhood so it is not as sterile feeling as some of the other places that we looked into/ The location is great and around a lot of things. It just looked like a place that would fit her needs perfect. She is in a great area to walk her dog, there is a park right across the park and it is very safe. We are very pleased with the experience. She has a washer and dryer in her apartment and they come in weekly to clean. They have great activities provided for the residents as well and do a lot of outings. It is a small enough location that the staff are really able to keep an eye on the residents and really get to know them.

The Village gives you that feeling of a country club, it is almost like a hotel setup and that everything you need to access is inside. It is beautifully decorated, and our loved one is still adjusting to the new lifestyle but so far everything has been positive

The location is amazing, and the people are really nice. We think the dining service is good based one what our loved one says, but the food could be a little bit better. Sometimes it is good and sometimes it is not. Our only issue we have is that it could use a remodel. The storage in all of the units is minimal and is just outdated.

Beautiful setting built around a courtyard with all of the amenities of the [removed]. 1 BR at $3205-$4260 a month. 2 BR $4360 a month But no memory care services. Independent living only. Nurses care group on site that can arrange a care package for dad.

We toured this community for a place to call home. The staff was able to answer the questions we had on the care that this community offers. We liked the menu and the good activities that would have been available. The community is clean and a nice environment to enjoy. We would recommend the good value for other families.

The Village of Tanglewood is a lovely place. The lobby, dining room, library and courtyard are stunning and reminded me of a beautiful hotel. The residents seem happy and were engaged with the staff and each other. The community is small which, provides a family atmosphere.

The staff in the community were very nice and attentive. I took a tour of this place. The guide gave me all the necessary information to make a decision about my grandfather moving to the community. The meal plans were explained as well as the activities offered. Unfortunately the community didn't meet our needs. Overall, it was a great place with nice staff.

So far so good since my mother has moved into The Village of Tanglewood. The community has lovely amenities, very nice place. The staff there works very hard to help residents aclimate to their move. They go above and beyond to make sure things go as smooth as possible.

Very beautiful. It is everything we could want in out retirement. Mary [removed ] cold not have been more helpful. She explained everything clearly, and gave us a tour of the facilities and rooms. Definitely at the top of our list.
