Wonderful Facility

My Mother [name removed] passed away last Monday, she was a long time resident at The Vineyard Inn since 2017...During that time, she was treated like family by not only the caregivers, but the entire staff...Not once did l ever notice any neglect nor did Mom mention any mistreatment from anyone over the 8 yrs she resided at the Vineyard Inn, if anything they went out of their way to make her comfortable and happy... The facility was always clean and there was never any of that smell that is associated with many other facilities, also Mom's room was well maintained and any issue was quickly resolved by the staff and maintenance... I could go on and on about the wonderful things associated with The Vineyard Inn, but I can honestly say having them care for my Mom was one of the smartest and best decisions my Father and I have made...Thank you [name removed], [name removed]and everyone else for making Mom's last few years happy and joyful...Please feel free to use me as a reference!!!...[name removed]

My thoughts of the Inn

I googled the Vineyard Inn to send to another family. I saw you only put three stars, as a physical therapist and now daughter of somebody who is staying there I must stay it rates much higher!.. there are few privately owned facilities and I must say the truly home feeling of the vineyard is wonderful. The care has been good. The food I would say is very good. I often join Mom for meals, regardless of where you help your parents or parents find the next stage of life you must always be involved in the care.. They do take a very hands-on approach to all of their residence and encourage the upmost involvement. If you can get by over the holidays, the decorations are absolutely amazing.

This was our final choice, ...

This was our final choice, we hoped. I've toured this one three times, each time liking it more. Parents loved it and we're still waiting for an opening after two months. It has a nice bed and breakfast feel. The residents were happy, well dressed and engaged. The employees were having fun with the residents and each other, knew their names and joked around. Very good atmosphere.
