Pleased with Trinity View
The food is excellent; the staff is very nice and caring and the facilities are well maintained. The activities look to be very good but my uncle hasn't yet started to participate in them so I can't comment on them other than what I have read.

Welcome to Trinity View Retirement Community, a senior living community in Arden, North Carolina. This senior community is a part of Lutheran Services, a faith-based nonprofit organization. In this community, seniors live independently while having staff take care of their maintenance. Upon arrival at Trinity View Retirement Community, you will notice the community's well manicured property, sunny walking paths, and outdoor seating areas. Great value for the money as compared to other communities in this area.
We are very happy with the staff, residents, and available activities provided. Three scrumptious and delicious meals are provided daily, cleaning and some laundry every other week. All included in monthly rent. A great value for the money.

My mom is happy
I live a thousand miles away from my mother but from reports from my brother, it has been a huge relief to know tha our mother is happy at Trinity View. Thank you for this service. Our family is forever grateful for all your care.

Friendly community
The staff and residents at Trinity View have been exceedingly helpful and kind. My mother is very happy with the facility and especially the food. Lots of healthy, fun activities. The administration is top notch!

Would highly recommend
The facility did an amazing job taking care of the residents when Hurricane Helene struck. The facility was without power and water for an extended period of time. My mom felt commented how amazing the staff was during this traumatic time for the community.

Trinity View
I'm jaded by her being kicked out. They called me constantly to get over there immediately, and every time I got there she was fine. Every time. When they did email me with a detailed list of their complaints, their details were completely wrong. I'm sure stuff happened, but I don't know what. They said it happened at 9pm, but I was on the phone with her from 8-10, yes 2 hours. They complained she was breaking into a room, but the room number they gave me was for her room. Stuff like that. The reside to were super nice and down to earth. The marketing director was also very nice. The director at the time (not there anymore) seemed to talk down to me. She sent a message to me that she thought I wanted her to tell me what to do. Boy did she misread me. That was rude. She is the one with the horrible records on that first comment. The marketing director was super nice as were the financial folks. The food was good but the rules were too strict and the instructions were confusing. Mom showed up for breakfast 10 min before they closed and was told it was too late to sit down and was given a to go box. She got mad and threw it on the floor. That is when they kicked her out. Obviously mom should not have done that, but it is also a ridiculously strict policy to expect elderly to have to understand. The daily food forms were also a bit confusing. I know of more residents than my mom who were confused about how to fill it out. Even though I said the above, mom loved the place. It broke my heart when she was kicked out. Granted, her dementia was kicking in and she probably shouldn't have been in independent living. But they could have been nicer and more helpful to me They have new administrators, the person I have mentioned above is no longer there.

Review for Trinity View Retirement Community
Be sure your family member can perform the majority of their ADLs. It is not the type of short term care facility that is staffed for one-on-one assistance with bathing, and eating; even though their admissions person will say they provide it. They do not. Staff was friendly but few in number to handle extra attention to those needs. Clean facility but I did not have a good experience.

Lack of care in assisted living
The administrator [name removed] is very unprofessional. My sister and brother-in-law have been away from there for a year now the staff and administration for the assisted living was an absolute joke. I understand they're under new management now or have hired a new administrator so it may be far better. They would leave them with no staff. I mean there's so much I would have to write a letter I would not recommend Trinity View to anyone.

Highly recommended
My mom loves the food! The staff has taken lots of time to help my parents settle in. (Includes chef, housekeeping , security, and administration) The breadth of services provided to my parents gives me peace of mind. There are plenty/variety of activities for all types of interests. Everyone there seems to enjoy working with seniors, regardless of their needs. Trinity View turned out to be the right fit for my parents. But what helped us make the decision was looking at other places too. I would absolutely recommend them to others.

Look no further
The staff at this facility are all friendly, accommodating, and were/are easy to work with. The food is well done and again very accommodating if you choose to eat in your room. The facilities are clean and well maintained. In my opinion, one would be hard pressed to find a better place. We are well pleased.

I think a lot of the issues stem from their difficulties staffing and finding help. This stresses the already exhausted staff that is there and leads to the ball being dropped in all areas.

Trinity is a Good Place
I am glad I am here at Trinity View. They are able to provide the care that my loved one needs and I am close by to see them. The staff are very helpful to work with if I have questions or concerns. The meals are usually good. Some of the activities available are music, theater, church service, trips in town, and more for the residents to choose from.
