Our community can accommodate up to 12 full-time residents for a variety of care needs.</p> <h3>Community Amenities and Services</h3> <p>Making sure our residents are cared for is our top priority. We are proud to provide respite, memory, incontinence, and ambulatory care as well as a long-term assisted living program. Residents can expect around the clock assistance with dressing and grooming, medication management, and home health. Nutrition is also at the forefront of our care plan, and we provide three meals, plus snacks, each day and are happy to work with residents to create meals to fit their dietary needs. We are well-connected to a variety of doctors and therapists in the Katy community and can connect residents with any additional medical care they may need.</p> <p>We pride ourselves on providing a welcoming community where residents can participate in activities in our gorgeous home with both indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. On Sunday mornings residents can be found participating in devotional time. In the evenings, we play board games and watch movies. We also center events around holidays and celebrations.</p> <h3>Living Arrangements</h3> <p>Make one of our private or semi-private bedrooms your new home! Our spacious floor plans are wheelchair accessible, have bathtubs, and are equipped with WiFi. Don’t worry about taking care of laundry or housekeeping — we’ve got it covered! All you need to do is sit back, relax, and receive high quality care. In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows:</p> <p></p><h3>Assisted Living Facility</h3> <p>A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities:</p> <p></p><dl><dt>Type A:</dt><dd>A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted.</dd><br> <dt>Type B:</dt><dd>A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair.</dd><br> <dt>Type C (Adult Foster Care):</dt><dd>Four-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program.
