Ivy Park is a nice facility. The apartments are nice, clean, and modern. Good amenities at the facility. The staff is friendly and helpful. The dining menu is also good and offers a lot of options. Happy to have found this place for my mom.

My experience with Ivy Park at Milpitas so far. This facility is clean and bright, most of the people works there are friendly and responsible. The food is fine too. Since my mom only knows little English, it is too bad she couldn't attend and enjoy most of the activities there, and she couldn't make lots of friends there neither. Those are the only drawback for her, I think.

It is a new, functional , and friendly place. It appears to be first class facility. I will seriously consider the facility. I do have a feeling it is for my later years. I feel now is too early to be in such worry free environment.

My friend is a resident of Ivy Care Milpitas. Since her arrival there, my friend has rediscovered her outgoing self. I attribute this to the outstanding respect and care that is given to each resident. The entire team there is outstanding. A high-five shout out to the director of the memory care unit for creating a vibrant living environment. Themed ‘parties’, lots of music and dancing, activities, lots and lots of smiles, and most importantly, acknowledgement of each resident's individual needs. No one feels excluded. The director is always visible and available to the residents with a smile, a kind word and an enthusiasm that radiates and envelopes all in one big feel good vibe.

My mother moved into Ivy Park 2 months ago and it has been really great for her. She used to live a home alone and not do much. Now that she is at Ivy she has been very active with going on the outings and participating in activities daily. She has made new friends and she sits with when she goes to the dining room 3 times a day. She has also gained weight from eating more often with the meals being cooked for her. I am really happy to see that she is doing so much better now that we moved her there.

I would say that with the takeover from the other company it has been definitely a little bit bumpy. I think they've got a new director in place now, but they really weren't delivering care at level three and we're charging for it while delivering level, two care etc. It was difficult to communicate and get appointment set up to discuss with anyone. The facility is beautiful, but they've got some bumps.

I toured Ivy Park Milpitas recently and really enjoyed the experience. The community feels warm and welcoming, the staff were kind, and the lunch was great. As I look for a place for my mom with memory loss, this stood out as a place where she could feel comfortable.

My dad moved into Ivy Park and it was a very hard move for him. He was resistant at first but the staff was able to connect him with a buddy that had similar interest and he made a new friend. He seems to be happy now and he really enjoys the meals he has in the dining room. We are glad we moved him to Ivy Park.

The facility is very pleasant, and clean . The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had lunch and enjoyed it. The dining facility is very nice and I had a chance to meet and talk to some of the residents. I also liked the pool and other recreational facility. In future if I decide to move to a Senior residential community. I will choose this one.

It was Westmont when my mother was there. The administration staff was incredibly helpful to us on every level. If they have the same staff. Food was ok. Only activities I saw was coloring and puzzles, nothing active.

A family member moved into Ivy Park and we were made a lot of promises like there would be low sodium meals. There would be vegetarian meals that you could eat anytime of day and the experience is different. There are hardly any vegetarian meals. There are probably not any low sodium meals at all. The person cooking didn’t seem to even understand what that meant. And a lot of the staff isn’t as friendly as they could be. they try to rush you out of the dining room when you’re not finished eating, if it’s not in the time that they think it’s appropriate though we were told you could eat anytime of day. the housekeeping has been minimal And indifferent and the housekeepers not very friendly. staff hasn’t really been available when you have a concern you want to talk to them about so I would say that it’s kind of questionable at this point. I’m assuming things will improve as my family member get used to the routine And there are good things.

The previous management team was somewhat disorganized but Ivy Park is trying to improve on that. Sometimes the food is too salty which is not good for seniors.

The caregivers are excellent. Very quick when called, and even check on their regular residents based on their routines. Additionally, there is plenty of amenities. In room laundry, lots of parking, many resident activities, pool.

The community went through a management change on [date removed]. Since then there is no permanent management. Also many staff have left and have not been replaced yet. Since the changeover, communication and housekeeping was nonexistent. If families are looking at Ivy Park at Milpitas, I would recommend waiting a year until Ivy Park has implemented their new policies and procedures and to be fully staffed. This way the perspective family will not have to worry about what changes will be happening for their family member.

We have been somewhat disappointed with the new owners of Ivy Park. It’s not the staff but the management that we have found unreliable. Also there hasn’t been a driver for over a month so no weekly activities or transportation which we are paying for. The quality of the meals is also not the same as it once was. Thinking of moving our loved one to a different facility. We gave Westmont a glowing 5 star review, can’t do that for the new Ivy Park.

The individual made the process very easy and painless help expedite the process in getting my dad from hospital to home. Worked very closely with the hospital on getting them to complete their part so we could move him.
