Westwind Manor has been updated and retrofitted with thoughtful, modern comforts. The social activities, exercise classes, delicious meals, and customized off-site excursions offered by this community are all designed to support the active lifestyle of assisted living residents.
The community's spacious courtyard provides plenty of space to soak up some sun next to the relaxing sounds of the fountain. What we like the most about Westwind Manor is that you feel like a part of the family as soon as you walk in the door. The staff is incredible and helps my father as much as he needs while also respecting his desire for independence. They keep me well informed of his condition and concerns that may arise. They go as far as to provide their private phone numbers for text communications. Westwind has been a blessing for our family

There are too many things to list in regards to what we like most about the community, but the staff is phenomenal. We would 100% recommend Westwind Manor to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

I would definitely recommend Westwind. The staff is great and treat my father, and me when visiting, like family. They are always available to take my calls and provide updates on his condition. They are responsive to his needs and very patient with him. My 3 rating on the meals is based solely on my father's comments but he can be overly critical.

Westwind Manor was not a good fit for my husband because it was assisted living and not memory care. He was there for about a month when Westwind told me that he had to leave because they couldn't handle his dementia issues, even though they knew he had Alzheimer's and their representatives came to my home to evaluate him before admitting him. Thereafter, I placed him in subsequent Memory Care facilities.

I was very reluctant to put my mom in an assisted living because I knew it would be ver difficult for her to accept help . At first she was very closed minded didnt want to be there but the staff and owner went above and beyond to make her comfortable and feel at home, truly part of their family. Now she is doing great. She loves everyone there participates and all the activities, eating delicious meals and has the most beautiful spacious room. I cannot say enough great things about EVERYONE at west wind I couldn’t be more grateful and pleased with our choice for mom.

The staff are wonderful. The community has lots of activities available for the residents to participate in. The food is good There are options for meals to choose from, and there are three meals served a day. Plus there are snacks. The fees are expensive, but it is worth it.

I have had absolutely no had one issues with Westwind Manor. They have gone above and beyond in each and every category listed above. The staff are PHENOMONAL. They are very kind and caring and have really helped me through a lot. I truly believe that they have salvaged my fathers life and I would highly recommend them to others.

There is no better place for love and respect for the whole person. The residents are cared for with great tenderness. They have nutritional meals with appropriate "treats". Their days are filled with socialization and activities.

It is a great place to send a loved one. Everything is great here. The staff are very helpful, pleasant, and willing to assist my loved one with their needs. I wouldn't change anything about the community.

They were good about keeping the community clean. The staff were all super friendly as well. They were very communicative with us about my mother-in-law's care. They did offer activities both off and on-site and brought outside entertainment in for the residents to enjoy. We did feel Westwind Manor was a good value and we thought the home made food was fantastic.

We have nothing but good things to say about this community. My mother in law is doing wonderful with her move to this community. We feel she is safe, and in good hands. They have a wonderful staff at this community. I go to visit her often, and I feel I've known the residents for years. They are very friendly, and welcoming. The community is always nice, and clean. They offer activities daily for the residents. Everything is working out very well for us in this community, and I would recommend it.

My mother in law is starting to adjust and have a routine since her move to this community. The place is very nice, were very happy it worked out. The place is always kept very clean and they always keep her very clean as well. My mother in law has always been a picky eater, and she is eating everything they serve here. She loves the food. They have a lot of activities, and the staff is always very encouraging for her to join, they don't let her just stay in her room, She's happy and that's what matters.

Place is clean (they were cleaning the bathroom when we dropped in) but there are no private baths. One bath is shared with another room but otherwise there is only one other bath for personal hygiene. Most of the rooms are shared with another person.

My tour with the director at Westwind Manor was terrific. He couldn't have been more pleasant or informative. Dan had already addressed all the topics and any extra questions that I may have had. The manor is beautifully restored and clean as a whistle. All the staff that I met were very wecoming and although I did not see them interacting with the residents at this time, I had a "good feeling" about them. I was particularly impressed with the level of personal care provided as far as video cameras in living room, dining area, and hallways. Some residents also had personal alert monitoring. Residents had 24 hr. care available. I was also happy, especially because of my parents' health issues, to hear that the manor will soon be apprved as a skilled heath facility providing 24 hr. nursing care. The director was very hospitable, inviting us and our family members to visit at any time to partake in the scheduled activities or meals provided by their many-years experienced cook. Judging by the smell of their midday meal being prepared, I wish I had had the time to stay! The only negative, which for me is not one, is that the manor has the feel of a bed and breakfast in an historic setting. All in all, I would feel more than comfortable leaving my parents in the care of the director and his staff. They are very proud of this home and should be! For my first visit to an assisted-living residence, others that I view will have a standard to uphold.
