Woodland Assisted Living

Woodland Care Center and Assisted Living started in 1974 and has been under the same ownership since 1978. We started out as a long-term care facility and in 1995 we expanded the building to accommodate the assisted living needs of our community. In 2005 we expanded again to accommodate the need for skilled nursing services in our area. We are now able to care for residents from assisted living to long-term care and skilled rehabilitation nursing care. We are independently owned and operated.

I was expecting someone to sit down with me and go over things. Instead, when I came in, I had to hunt someone down to find out who to meet with. There was no receptionist, just a nurses station with no nurse. Once [name removed] and I met up, my entire visit was about 10 minutes. She showed me a deluxe studio, talked about the amenities while walking to and from. Showed me the dining room, a common area and the front door. The place feels more like a nursing home than assisted living.
