I’ve look all over Tucson at multiple places: this is the BEST.

This is an incredible place for your loved one. wonderful. The staff are exceptional, meals lovely and well prepared. My Mom has been there 9 months and she’s happy and made friends. She enjoys their planned and diverse activities, music, travelogue presentations, art, group movies, etc. Her care level is high(97 years old) medical assistance is immediate, caring and effective. Oversight is constant and reassuring to all family members. Seriously, I cannot rave enough and I visit every other day to two days, regularly - and everyone is like family, including the residents. Happy Place!

High end care in a small, home-like environment

We moved our loved one to the Gardens at Blenham Elms from a larger Memory Care facility and are so happy with the decision to move her. She seems more at peace, the management is educated in dementia and doesn't blame the family when issues like agitation come up. They are patient, kind and work as a team. The move-in process was smooth and they worked to accommodate our schedule. They allowed us to move in our loved one's items and set up the room prior to moving her in to ease the transition. The staff is very kind and patient with the families and residents. The place is clean, neat and bright. It doesn't feel like a locked facility with all of the windows giving bright, natural light. They have a set schedule of rotating activities that families are welcome to attend. Our loved one's room is clean and tidy, and we appreciate that all linens are included. It's a small facility (up to 10 residents) and the care is 5:1. Because it is a small business, you receive good quality interactions with the managers and ongoing communications. You always know who to talk to and can text directly with them. They are responsive and will work with you to find solutions (unlike larger facilities that only care about the bottom line). Since it's a homey facility, residents can sit in the kitchen while the staff works and can even eat there.

Overall I had no problems with the Gardens. it met our needs very well. We only moved my mom so that she could be in the same facility as my dad (who is in independent living).

Highly Recommended!

It's a beautiful, homelike setting. The food is fabulous and homemade. All the residents eat together. If some people are having difficulty eating, the staff closely monitor their intake. And if they need to eat in the kitchen instead of the dining room, then they make accommodations for that. The care is very individualized, and the people who work there are spectacular. The communication between the owner and the families is excellent. I can't say enough nice things about The Gardens.

Compassionate, caring staff

We are so thankful that our mom is in such a wonderful place. The staff are universally kind, genuinely caring people operating at a very high professional level. The care our mother has received there has been tremendous. My mom just celebrated her 100th birthday there, and the staff were so kind and warm. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Safe, courteous care for your elderly patient.

My husband was there 5-6 days and then passed away. Everything was good during those few days we were there. He got to have pedicure and manicure, which he had never had before and got a kick out of that. He seemed happier there than he had been at another place. Everybody was wonderful and courteous. Hospice came in and were wonderful people. All the staff were very supportive of me.

Not recommended

My loved one was previously a resident at The Gardens at San Carlos and the experience was terrible. I would not recommend The Gardens to others, I am so glad that I got my loved one out of this facility.
